  1. QUOTE(aboz56 @ May 25, 2006 -> 04:45 PM) Please remember that he has no clue sometimes when it comes to IU basketball. I tend to ignore all of his posts during the season otherwise he just tries to piss us off. I just don't get it, since Indiana hasn't exactly "sinned" or had any kind of violation since 1960.
  2. QUOTE(bmags @ May 25, 2006 -> 04:07 PM) hasselback is the most disgusting bush apologist i've ever seen... Someone watches the View.
  3. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ May 25, 2006 -> 04:30 PM) Pretty much anything regarding the White Sox deserves its own thread in Pale Hose since we are the hardcore. I can certainly see some tidbits that were never discussed, because they weren't exactly thread-worthy. I know I've done it.
  4. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ May 25, 2006 -> 04:02 PM) It'd be a much worse punishment if he were still at Oklahoma, he was probably overjoyed to get to Indiana where they will ignore your sins. Must be cool to be a privileged program. Please explain. And Sampson is in Kuwait for the second straight summer. Sampson is part of a group of coaches who are coaching U.S. military basketball teams in a tournament from May 23-29.
  5. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ May 25, 2006 -> 01:36 PM) Anyone going to explain where this is shown? never mind....After reading the first post again...I see it's at the games They had an episode of it in the WhiteSox.com newsletters they send out too.
  6. QUOTE(Balance @ May 25, 2006 -> 01:05 PM) I have some red-green colorblindness. So the new format for coloring text makes it pretty hard for me. If I want to make something green, I can't really see which color is red and which is green in the little box. Any way we could re-implement the color coding with the words for colors instead of the number codes? Or at least have a label? Thanks. I've noticed it still works, if you just write the word green or red. Just select a color, and replace the color code with the word of the color. For example. to and it will work.
  7. I read a blip about this last night. Very sad to hear. Hopefully the whole family is able to overcome and recover. Though he struggled a lot in a White Sox uni, he was very likable for being extremely stand-up, etc.
  8. This will be an interesting series, since Toronto's much improved. However, the Sox do got a great shot to continue what they've been doing the past couple series, especially since Halladay's being held back for the beginning of next week.
  9. Happy birthday to one of the site's best posters and a solid rookie poster. Hope you two have a good one!
  10. QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ May 25, 2006 -> 12:28 AM) Not surprising poll People who picked Aj were Twins fans, cub fans, angel fans, and all of america who saw aj in the whole drop third ordeal. Players voted on this poll.

    My Mother

    Scary stuff. I hope everything turns out fine; keep us updated.
  12. Wooo....I just successfully worked with HTML for the first time ever. I just completed my first main block update on the SoxTalk.com frontpage. But seriously, this place is great. We've got a lot of great posters and things going on here. In fact, I probably spend too much time here, but what can you say? I'm dedicated. As Hawk once said: "SoxTalk.com....YESSS!"
  13. Think how f***ed up this is: We're 16 games over .500 at 31-15 (.674), and we're in second place.
  14. Nice outing by Buehrle, and some nice hitting by Pods, Thome, and Mack tonight. Very nice to see the Sox starting to excise those West Coast demons with their success against LAAAAA and a home sweep of the A's now. Keep it going in Toronto!
  15. QUOTE(chitownsportsfan @ May 24, 2006 -> 10:28 PM) You know, this bullpen is a lot easier on the digestive tract without Boone Logn. It really is. It's incredible how much better I feel about the pen.
  16. QUOTE(Heads22 @ May 24, 2006 -> 08:28 PM) Lyle Mouton I always liked that guy.
  17. QUOTE(Melissa1334 @ May 24, 2006 -> 08:27 PM) funny how we seem to be the only ones having problems getting him out. He had no problem hitting here last the last 16 years either. Though he's in another jersey, this is still his home park. I'm not surprised to see him fare well this week.
  18. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 24, 2006 -> 08:25 PM) His mechanics are also really off right now...he's trying to make up for the drop in velocity by overthrowing everything, so hitters wind up able to pick up his arm angle a lot better. He'll improve if he fixes that. No more 20 win seasons probably, but he's not as bad as he looks now. I don't really want this to become an RJ thread, but they had a whole thing on his problems on Sportscenter at 6. They had all these reasons. But one was never his age. Can't he just be done? He is up there in age.
  19. QUOTE(Melissa1334 @ May 24, 2006 -> 08:24 PM) frank walks wtf He's never taken one of those before.. QUOTE(SnB @ May 24, 2006 -> 08:24 PM) I thought it was awesome to see hurt and mark grinning at each other during that AB Hah yeah, I liked that.
  20. QUOTE(beautox @ May 24, 2006 -> 08:13 PM) nice, get down Haren! Seriously. That could've been ugly. Glad he's got some cat-like reflexes.
  21. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ May 24, 2006 -> 08:10 PM) ...and he got you 0 points that inning. You forget who's judging it.
  22. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 24, 2006 -> 08:01 PM) OMG HAWK HE GONE!!
