  1. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ May 8, 2006 -> 11:30 PM) This board is getting pussified fast today. In the end, he was right, so the doubters have to eat it. But he didn't call anything, he just asked, so he doesn't have much to crow about. In the end, noone's got much to talk about, so this long argument about who should be apologizing looks pretty dumb. No, he stated it here at the same time. You may have saw the thread title earlier with question marks and the word "rumor" in the title. I changed it to that earlier this afternoon, because we had no confirming evidence either way. However, it wasn't worthy to close the thread, until we determined the fate of the news one way or another.
  2. QUOTE(Beastly @ May 8, 2006 -> 11:21 PM) And so my fellow soxtalkians, this is why we let people speak here on the board, and wait before we can prove them untrue and believe EVERYTHING THAT IS INACCURATE is farfetched. Have a nice evening, everyone.
  3. Nice job completing the show under the weather Jas; the Rally Crede got you through it. Excellent job on breaking the story on Count. That’s very cool that Mario had that. Good point on Gload. Unfortunately, he’s just a lost cause for us. Because we really have no need for him, but we need him as insurance. However, it’s unfair to expect anything for someone that only plays a few times a month, if he’s lucky. And I’m also wanting more from Mack too; hopefully he gets in one of those hot streaks soon. I agree with both of you on BA. You’ve got to stick with him. We don’t have any options readily available. He’s looked good the past couple games; hopefully he’ll continue to progress off that. And I don’t want Lofton either; I’m not too fond of that player either. The squeeze was a good call yesterday too. I don’t think we should get away from small-ball. Obviously the pitching was the primary piece of the puzzle to winning the World Series; however, I consider the small ball just as important. I love how you both closed that topic; it’s not all about stats.
  4. Welcome. This has been discussed several times. Crede's certainly deserving. He's ALWAYS had the great glove, but it's been under the radar before his bat got hot last fall. However, the gold glove is a bit of a farce, in that you must be a good offensive player to earn the gold glove also. If Crede continues hitting the way he does, he'll have no problem taking the hardware home.
  5. I think I'm getting this tomorrow. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1124432186876
  6. Game day operations for the Fort Wayne Wizards and I interviewed to work at a golf shop today too.
  7. Sad that I missed this. And I understand Stuart Scott did this? Whyyyyyyy? I like David Blaine though.
  8. Ha holy f***, and you guys were all giving him s*** before I left. I'm not even going to try to read this thread. But this is great proof that people shouldn't start s*** just to start s***. I hope the ones that started talking in the beginning of this thread apologized. The mods/admins at SoxTalk will take care of it, if there is a problem or a farce. There's absolutely no reason to quick judge, ever.
  9. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ May 8, 2006 -> 03:57 PM) It isnt on Whitesox.com I don't believe this for a second either, but we've beaten ChiSox.com on everything.
  10. The title has been changed until efficently proven.
  11. Sweet. I got stuff to do right now, and I work my first game tonight. This will definitely be on the agenda for when I get back.
  12. I throw/eat/write left-handed, but I bat/kick/golf right-handed.
  13. I'd actually prefer it be done on the road. It'd be much more entertaining.

  15. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ May 7, 2006 -> 10:05 PM) Of course...its the only way to be.
  16. QUOTE(whitesoxin' @ May 7, 2006 -> 09:47 PM) Are you serious? It's a disgrace to baseball that he is going to break the Babe's record. Some reason they both like him and at least one of them doesn't even believe he's taken steroids.
  17. QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ May 7, 2006 -> 05:40 PM) People working undercover to design undectable steriods? Apparently you want the answer to be yes. Yes, Jim Thome will be under steroid scrutiny. :rolly
  18. And the videos Bri and I have posted don't even come close to resembling some box bulls***.
  19. QUOTE(bulokis @ May 7, 2006 -> 04:45 PM) Crede has been great since making great plays and being a clutch hitter during the world series run. Even longer than that. Ever since he came off of the DL, he's been fantastic. But he was always clutch for some reason.
  20. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ May 7, 2006 -> 01:40 PM) ....watch. What?
  21. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ May 7, 2006 -> 01:25 PM) lol, what does that mean? OnlineHost: greasywheels121 rolled 2 6-sided dice: 3 5
