QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 1, 2006 -> 06:46 PM) By the way, I guess I'll be the one to point this out: the Chicago White Sox franchise record for wins in April? 17. And the last time we did it, we won the WS.

QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ May 1, 2006 -> 06:32 PM) Our last victory in gray was in Houston.... Fitting, with our road record last year (best in the bigs). 52-29 in the regular season, and 6-0 in the playoffs.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ May 1, 2006 -> 06:28 PM) Because it worked out so well for Matt Leinart. I feel so awful for him too. Lost the National Championship and his top pick status.

QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ May 1, 2006 -> 06:25 PM) I think its dumb to be superstitous about what type of jersey is worn. I don't.

QUOTE(Dan @ May 1, 2006 -> 06:03 PM) Git R Done! Joe Joe is a White Sox. Borch Torch will go on to do bad for yet another team. greasy, is that the one and only John Basedow in your avatar? I was abducted for a second. I don't even know what it was.

I definitely want to see something done, as far as a contract. Crede's coming into his own, and he's certainly become a fan favorite over the past year for obvious reasons. Why would you want to let him go after all that, when we could potentially experience all the same struggles again with Fields?

QUOTE(vandy125 @ May 1, 2006 -> 04:02 PM) Looks great from what I can see, but I can not get the full image. All I am getting is the thumbnail. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong? Did you click on it?

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ May 1, 2006 -> 02:52 PM) Does anyone think he actually has a chance to break Bonds' record this year? It's very early, and I certainly don't want to get my hopes up, but wouldn't it be the sweetest thing for Bonds to see his record erased in his retirement year (probably)? That would be cool. I really like Pujols. He's a god at the plate, but he's very likable IMO.

There could be some good jokes w/ the recent news, and that background. However, use Image Shack or Image Venue, when uploading a wall. Because Photobucket tends to shrink pictures.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ May 1, 2006 -> 02:42 PM) And you call yourself an admin. :headshake At least I cited my work.

Okay, that didn't work, but you get the point.

The Yanks-Sawx is so worthless. Has everyone noticed the poll questions on the MLB portion of ESPN.com have been about the Yanks-Sawx for the entire month?

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ May 1, 2006 -> 12:03 AM) Well if it's not an issue we let Frank go, why must a few of the Frank fans come into a thread such as this and make snide remarks about KW and how Frank is a clubhouse cancer? And then after I wonder why such things need to be said, all of a sudden I'm starting an argument? Ok.....whatever you guys say. Apparently the article is yellow journalism if KW is a saint and an honest man. I mean Frank's a clubhouse cancer and a horrible teammate, remember? All our posts were tongue-in-cheek, and then you came in to just s*** on Frank and bring up Thome. None of that was really necessary. Frank and Thome are not peanut-butter and jelly (lame, I know). They both don't need to be brought up everytime the other is mentioned.

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 11:52 PM) Nobody was, but everybody seems to think we made a mistake letting Frank go, which there is no evidence to prove is fact, or anywhere close to it. I don't even think people are even saying it was a mistake. Frank's always going to be my favorite player, and I realize we're better off without him now. We're just correcting some unnecessary and false acquisitions. It serves no purpose to continue bashing for Frank for no reason.
