  1. QUOTE(jphat007 @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 04:47 PM) I ahte that about MLB.tv and extra innings. I which you had the option of which to watch. I don't like listenting to steve physioc and rex hudler. I don't have MLB.tv this year, so I've only seen ESPN/WGN games. However, I'm done with the semester Wednesday. I'll be home either Thursday or Friday.
  2. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 04:45 PM) Hawk just hesitated again with the Aflac question and answer being Ted Kluzuski. Hawk must hate him too. Does he still love the duck? I don't get to start seeing CSN games until the end of the week.
  3. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 04:38 PM) Sweet post.
  4. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 04:28 PM) Safe bet: If we win today, Ross Gload will play a big part in the game. "The White Sox have won the series! They've won the series! A White Sox winner, and they're going to Cleveland! They're mobbing Gload on the first base side of the infield. The White Sox have won 3 in a row, and they'll start the next series at Cleveland on Monday."
  5. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 03:52 PM) I'm being sane. We played kickass baseball yesterday. Today, not so much. You can't expect to win with a backup lineup. How many innings are in baseball games again?
  6. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 03:51 PM) Stupid play, game further out of reach. Was the being sane thing only a one-night deal? Buy some more ritalin man.
  7. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 03:49 PM) Like a bum. Well in that case, I'd gladly take that bum on our team.
  8. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 03:43 PM) Santana looks bum-ish to me. That was my first thought seeing him, actually. Bum-ish?
  9. Pods, LF Cintron, 2B Thome, DH PK, 1B Dye, RF Crede, 3B Mack, CF Uribe, SS Widger, C Garland, SP
  10. Nope. It's about all I look for until they're out. We need to get Ozzie to register here, and post the f***ing lineup he makes.
  11. Garland's had the "Sunday lineup" behind him more than anyone else this season, and he may receive it once again. Garland's coming around though. I saw an article this weekend, where was talking of having a dead-arm period to start the season, but his arm's as strong as it ever was now.
  12. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 10:58 AM) Please don't start implying that I'm some bandwagon fan. That's bulls***. :rolly All I'm saying is that I don't think Guillen would gain amnesia about the story of his baseball team and forget that, for instance, Carlos Lee treated Damaso Marte like s*** and thus Marte beaned him. He wouldn't say, "I ordered it" or even condone it, but all I'm saying is that I don't think he'd pretend that nothing had ever happened like Scioscia. I wasn't aware that I'd declared Geoff Blum the best hitter in White Sox history. I never said that you declared Blum the best hitter in White Sox history.
  13. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 10:47 AM) If Damaso Marte plunked Carlos Lee, I don't think Guillen would say, "I wasn't aware that they'd had any history" or "I didn't know there was a problem." He'd downplay it, to be sure, but I don't think Guillen's that type. He may not say it the exact same way Scioscia did, but he would leave it between the players. EVERY manger is going to be politically correct in that situation. You would have to have just started watching the Sox in October to think otherwise......
  14. QUOTE(Gregory Pratt @ Apr 30, 2006 -> 10:40 AM) Well, surely I understand, too, that he can't say, "That f***er had it coming" but I just think this level of dishonesty is so blatant as to be humorous/disgusting. Ozzie would be saying the same things, if the tables were turned. Scioscia's doing exactly what you're supposed to do.
