I think the lesson here is:
Everyone looks stupid when they're young.
HEAR THAT, young posters????
In that case, you must be REALLY young.

I'm thinking that maybe Freddy will announce that he's injured after he gets a win tonight, making him the most successful Venezuelan pitcher?
Maybe he's been injured but not speaking about it because he wants to pass Alvarez?
Something's seriously wrong, because Freddy is much better than this.
That's awful reasoning.

Brian is getting more comfortable....I can tell thru the radio.
Now someone get Ed Farmer to stop talking...
SOX LEAD
PODS
I wish he weren't the only one to stop talking.

Good ol' Jeff Weaver.
This brings back so much memories......
I remember a lot of people viewed that fight as the gelling point of the 2000 season. I can't really remember a notable Sox brawl since then, if there's even been one.
Topic pinned.
The Pods thing was very cool last year. It was nice to see someone on our team finally win that ballot after having Mags in '02 and Frank in '03 and '04 lose that additional balloting race.
It'd definitely be sweet to see our team represented well at this year's ASG.

I remember a road game last year (Toronto, maybe?) where there was lots of dead air (not a lot of action) and DJ started up with some of his priceless non-sequitirs, at one point, quoting the song "Billy, Don't Be a Hero."
LMAO. That was great.
I remember that. He was trying to get Donn Paul to sing with him.

For some reason, I've always liked DJ. I'm probably in the minority, though. Nothing compares to watching the Sox with Hawk and DJ commentating.
Same. I've never had a problem with the guy, but I think I'm at the point now, where I may like DJ more than Hawk. Because you never know what he'll say.
