  1. I think I remember seeing this mentioned on here somewhere, but I never got to read it. Very good article. I faintly remember there being a story on him on SC or OTL on ESPN now when he was with the Angels. Very cool to see Bobby to turn himself around and become a very important part of this ballclub. And it's awesome that the Sox could give him that chance.
  2. Ouch. This explains the reason his face was so swollen on the one side at the ASG. Wish him the best. http://www.sportsnetwork.com/default.asp?c.../AON4006074.htm

  4. So all the Stooges will be rocking the long hair, lol.
  5. QUOTE(Rooftop Shots @ Feb 22, 2006 -> 11:29 PM) I'm kind of confused. Your link shows Comcast on a lot of games, and the link that I went to was also The White Sox sight under Schedules/Broadcast scedule. Why would they differ on the same sight? That's just March for ST games.
  6. QUOTE(UofIChiSox @ Feb 22, 2006 -> 11:22 PM) I thought Comcast was showing like 18 spring training games, is that right? Indeed. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...=cws&m=3&y=2006
  7. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 22, 2006 -> 11:05 PM) Eh, he's atleast waiting another one. That team ain't winning the Series this year. Well, now you can hand the Yankees the trophy.
  8. Dick Vitale is so ridiculous about his love of Knight. He brings it up everytime he does a game here. He's always saying they should rename AH after him. It's not even necessary. Also, IU has a policy that they will not name a building after a person, unless they have been deceased for 5 years. Vitale will have to "Cheney" Knight on a hunting trip, if he really wants that to ever go through.
  9. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Feb 22, 2006 -> 10:41 PM) My Dad tricked me with this one a few days ago. He also filmed it. Bastard.
  10. Tenn gets a 76-72 win in Florida. They STOLE that one, and Bruce Pearl sweat through his suit through that one.
  11. Texas gets a 65-61 win at Kansas State. It got interesting at the end, but Texas never lost the lead.
  12. Whatever. I have no problem with him saying it. It's just going to be bulletin board material for everyone else. BTW, the 2005 White Sox say thanks Dmitri Young.
  13. This isn't even newsworthy. Is he supposed to say he thinks the Yanks won't even get out of their division?
  14. Thank God. A win for the first time since the first of the month. Mike Davis got a decent reception when they announced his name, which was nice and finally means this is all over. Strickland was huge tonight; we needed someone to step up like that. Killingsworth had a pretty clean game too, with 14 points and 7 boards. The bench provided some good minutes and contribution which was a nice change. Got to protect home court on Senior Day (Sunday) against a tough Michigan State to keep hope alive.
  15. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 22, 2006 -> 12:35 PM) It's deeper this year but it was completely top heavy last year. What I mean is that Illinois and MSU were great teams, the b10 just had no depth to it, this year there is no great team in the b10 but it's deep as all hell. Like I said in my first post, I really doubt any big 10 teams gets to the ff. Well there's just more good teams in the Big Ten, and basketball as a whole is down. I think after being tested night in and night out, the Big Ten will take advantage of the weaker tourney field. There's no way that at least 1 team in the Big Ten doesn't make it.
  16. I'm pretty confident that at least 1 Big Ten team will make the FF. The Big Ten's just so much better this year. Last year, Indiana was the first 10-6 team in conference history to not make the tournament. And this year, everyone's saying if we are somehow able to finish at .500, we'll be guaranteed a spot in the tourney. Teams have really beat up on each other in conference, but we've got the #1 RPI as a conference, for a reason.

  18. QUOTE(Brian @ Feb 21, 2006 -> 11:30 PM) If there is a silver lining, SIU could get to MSG in the NIT. 66th best team in the nation!
  19. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Feb 21, 2006 -> 11:25 PM) We went from a virtual lock in the ncaa tournament to what's going to be a first round exit in the nit in one week. Doesn't get much better then that. Our's was a little more drown out, but sounds about right. 12-3, #8 in the nation and in the RPI 13-10, no rank and #43 in the RPI f***in' great and unheard of.
  20. Am I dreaming things, or didn't you already make this post at least 30 min ago?
  21. Geez. ND's lost by a differential of like 1 point 10000 times this year.
