Hightower's done like every game in the Big Ten ever. It's ridiculous. UConn up 43-34 over Pitt at home at the end of the first half. -

QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 31, 2006 -> 05:01 PM) Oh God, I don't even go over there for 3 days after losses, people are so stupid. Message board overreactions are so silly, good for a laugh if it's any team but your own. Yeah. I'd say that'd probably be the best thing if Mike Davis ever got fired. He doesn't know how to tie his shoes, according to these people. Check out these questions. http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...TS0610/51010002 -
I thought the reason the park faces the way it does, is because of the sun. Having it on that side of the street, required the park to face the other way.

I know we have a similar post to it somewhere on SoxTalk, but I can't find it. Here's a link to something similar on a Marlins Board listing sites: http://www.marlinbaseball.com/forums/index...ter&f=2&t=35831 -

QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 12:33 PM) And your opinion? That's the way it should be done. I agree with the sentiment of Indiana right now, if this team can't get at least that far with this lineup, Davis shouldn't be here. -

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 12:28 PM) Can I resume calling for Mike Davis's job now? Nothing will happen until the conclusion of the season. If this team doesn't go at least Sweet 16, he'll be gone. -

QUOTE(thedoctor @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 08:45 AM) i am a bear fan, but i have great respect for favre. i acknowledge how good he is and his place in history and all of that. but this has been a running story for how long now? and on the monday of super bowl week a story "breaks" that "now he's leaning to retirement?" gmafb. this week should be about the competing teams, not the quarterback on one of the worst teams in the league. Blame ESPN. THEY are the ones that interviewed him. THEY are the ones that chose to break it as a story now. -

QUOTE(thedoctor @ Jan 30, 2006 -> 08:31 AM) i wish dude would just make a decision one way or another and be done with it. why couldn't this revelation wait until after the super bowl? he just has to have the limelight. LOL You must be a Bears fan. I guess we should b**** about all these teams making coaching moves at the same time too. This Super Bowl doesn't have many story lines besides the Bus. I don't think anyone is complaining about there being a little side story this year. -
Wow. The Buick Invitiational had an awesome ending. At least 10 guys had a shot at this all day, because the course was just beating everyone up. Tiger, Olazabal, and a rookie Green have a 2 hole playoff after finishing the 72 at -10. Green falls out on the first playoff, and Olazabal chokes a putt to halve the second hole. Tiger is victorious in his first tournament as a 30 year old.

QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Jan 29, 2006 -> 06:58 PM) How about that donut machine that perpetually pushes donuts into Homer's mouth in the Simpsons. Man, he really needs to gain some weight.

QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Jan 29, 2006 -> 03:15 PM) I knew this two game swing was going to be tough for IU. I am just disappointed that they could not find a way to split the two games. It doesn't get any easier with UConn coming into town next Saturday. Fifth place now. We're not going to contend for the Big Ten, if we don't take advantage of these kind of games. We SHOULD get back on track Wednesday against NW, but it doesn't get any easier after that. Like you said, UConn on Saturday, and then we go to Wisconsin. -
QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jan 29, 2006 -> 10:04 AM) I would certainly hope so, he is paid to write about it FWIW, Mariotti's paid to do so too.
