  2. QUOTE(WinningUgly85 @ Jan 22, 2006 -> 09:16 PM) hows this gonna work? Isn't President Bush an Astros fan? Just like his Dad. Doesn't matter. There's nothing personal about this tradition. It's just the President shaking hands with the players, and the players presenting a jersey to the President. Just a nice photo-op.
  3. Hah weird. I never knew Joe Buck went to IU until Aikman said that. I still hate the guy, but a little less now.
  4. Richard Jauron will be the next Bills coach. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2302255
  5. Well at least the Colts always go out to the Super Bowl Champion every year....
  6. I can't find the threads asking about this, b/c the search required to find it links everything to the Filibuster. However, I don't know if people noticed, but the Sox are scheduled to go to the White House the second week of February. Just something to look forward to!
  7. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Jan 22, 2006 -> 09:27 AM) Hey greasy, do me a favor, NEVER change your avatar please. Haha! I'm so glad she does all the ESPN Big Ten games.
  8. Happy Birthday to an IU alumnus!
  9. Damn you Bush! I figured it was necessary since it's in the Filibuster.
  10. 71-58. UConn gets the road victory. They should be the new #1 team in the nation when the new rankings come out.
  11. UConn up 61-55, w/ a little more than 3 minutes left. UConn is just so good. It's incredible to see Louisville still hanging around though. They don't have Dean, and it took them 17 shots before they made a trey. They don't have anyone besides their starters either; their bench has 0 points.
  12. Tennessee does it!! They beat no-longer unbeaten Florida 80-76! UConn has a great shot to be #1 on Monday, if they take care of business in Louisville. They're up early in the first half. UPSET SATURDAY!
  13. This game needs to be on TV. Florida and Tennessee tied at 66, timeout at 4:53. I'm going nutso watching this on the Sportsline.com scoreboard.
  14. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jan 21, 2006 -> 08:32 PM) But I don't have your skillz. Damn straight. I ate good tonight. My friend took a picture.
  15. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jan 21, 2006 -> 08:24 PM) So I walk into subway tonight and there is a sign that says "Out of Bread." :headshake You curse everything. You should have went hunting.
  16. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jan 21, 2006 -> 08:15 PM) Nova beats Cuse by 15. Got some college gameday and then uconn-louisville, good stuff. I expect uconn to win this one pretty easily, but you never know with what has been going on today. I hope they do. I want UConn to be the #1. Florida's up 46-45 early in the 2nd half at Tennessee.
  17. Wow, nice work. I'd be going crazy trying to put all that together. That'll be a nice reference now.
  18. QUOTE(knightni @ Jan 21, 2006 -> 11:50 AM) I hope that that was meant to be in green. There is no Charlotte, South Carolina. Well the Knights are in SC.
  19. What an ugly game. IU won 62-49 over rival Purdue. This was just a gritty game, and the refs just made it worse. I've never seen so many touch fouls in my life. You couldn't breathe on a player today. Shooting was poor, but our defense was on point. IU moves into a tie for first in the Big Ten at 4-1. Our next game is at Iowa on Tuesday.
  20. QUOTE(rudylaw @ Jan 21, 2006 -> 11:20 AM) Does anyone have any idea how the Knights draw in Char. I know it is the minors but it could be a good indicator. The Knights are in Charlotte, SC. This is Charlotte, NC, being discussed as the potential new home for the Marlins.
  21. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Jan 21, 2006 -> 11:21 AM) Let's hope that IU gets ahead early and wins this one easily. Marco Killingsworth didn't practice Thursday due to the back spasms that were giving him trouble against Illinois and Roderick Wilmont has not practiced the past two days due to the ankle he hurt in the Illini game. Hope neither of these linger............ I saw those quotes. We need a blowout today for that reason. Marco and Rod need minimal time today, to get themselves better. We need them right for the big game on Tuesday.
  22. IU-Purdue tip off here at 2:30. This is going to be kind of weird, because now the rivalry has officialy lost two of its biggest proponents: Bob Knight and Gene Keady. IU shouldn't have a problem with this game, but records usually go out the door against the rival. These games are always close. It'd be huge for IU to take care of this, because it could move us into a tie with Wiscy at the top of the Big Ten. Ben Allen's going to be starting for the second straight game, with the regulars; hopefully he can stay out of foul trouble today and light it up.
