  1. QUOTE(Spiff @ Jan 11, 2006 -> 05:39 PM) Thank god ESPN got in on the NBA tv contract so they could warehouse it on wednesdays and show college ball instead. The old schedule of TNT Wednesday-TBS Thursday-TNT Friday was 100 times better. I love the amount of college b-ball ESPN shows. However, I agree, I used to love when TBS and TNT had the back to back nights of the NBA. How long is this contract for that ESPN has with the NBA? Maybe Turner would try to buy it all back.
  2. 41-39 MSU at the half. I'm surprised we're still in this. I expected MSU to just come out blazin' with their situation and finally being at home. IU will have to still play at a ridiculous level to have any chance to win this. Killingsworth's just going to continue to have to carry the load, especially if MSU is going to be play timid defense to avoid the fouls.
  3. QUOTE(mr_genius @ Jan 11, 2006 -> 02:57 PM) i like the old way they scheduled the Olympics. both winter and summer the same year, every 4 years. When was that? EDIT: Nevermind; I looked it up.
  4. QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jan 11, 2006 -> 12:11 PM) And for those of you in Fort Wayne Indiana (hi greasy) the library there is WONDERFUL for geneology. It's sad, when that is one of the biggest attractions the city has.

  6. Ouch. Best of luck to you Bull. SoxTalk still can't wait to see you pitch for the big show, and we hope you can keep in touch! Thanks for all you've done for this board.
  7. #22 Oklahoma loses to Missouri at home 71-69, to start conference play at 0-2.
  8. It'd be awhile until anything could ever happen because of cap issues, but Brad Miller wants to play for the Pacers again. http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti...431/1004/SPORTS
  9. QUOTE(Spiff @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 08:47 PM) Minnesota was down 25-6 to Sconsin with 3:15 left in the first half, they're now up 50-49 This game is a "barn-burner." I hope the Gophers can pull this off. And have I mentioned how awesome this broadcasting trio is?
  10. I am absolutely fascinated with the wheel. I think the wheel is neatest, when it's greasy. Right now, I have a collection of 121 greasy wheels.
  11. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 06:19 PM) Is the defender of all things Mike Caruso. Is the offender of all things Greg Walker.
  12. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 05:48 PM) Of course not in all cases, in fact, the majority of the time, race isn't a protective issue.....but it is here. If you're trying to speak for me, you're wrong.
  13. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 05:45 PM) You're so wise. That's all photoshop right there. My laptop finally started working again yesterday so I had to make sure photoshop was still operational. It'd be pretty worthless if it was just a font.
  14. Welcome, we have a topic on this in our forum all about baseball. http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?showforum=39
  15. QUOTE(Yoda @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 05:33 PM) Isn’t it supposed to be LasMediasBlancas? As for my name... plain and simple. I am the greatest Jedi Master (one of only two Jedi that survived the destruction of the Jedi caused by a young pupil that went by the name of Darth Vader) and am currently living in Gary. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...anish/index.jsp Check out the right of the banner.
  16. QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 05:25 PM) You'll never take me alive coppers!!! :finger ::jumps out window:: Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
  17. QUOTE(Yoda @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 05:06 PM) mreye is a good example of having to stick with your username, avatar, and sig. I’ve been here for almost two years and the man has never changed anything. Though I do admit that I never get tired of seeing that little green eyed monster from Monsters Inc. BTW, this is a question for mreye himself: Have you ever clicked the My Controls option? He kept a series record of the White Sox in '05 in his sig, so he definitely has.
  18. QUOTE(RME JICO @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 04:35 PM) What font are you using? Guarantee it's just all photoshop. Manipulated the S off the Sox logo, and probably made the T.
  19. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jan 10, 2006 -> 04:38 PM) My XM sounds great, almost like a cd My mom had XM for a few months, and I thought the quality was great. I can't speak for Sirius though; I've never heard it.
  20. If you knew you were going to get fired, wouldn't you start planning for the future? It's widely known the Jets were going to fire Edwards. They should be extatic that they're receiving some kind of consolation prize for not getting to do so.
  21. The Jets were going to f*** him over anyways. This was the only way Herm was going to have any say/control in the situation. I still like the guy.
  22. I'm definitely ready for the season. However, this has been a fast winter IMO. The Sox shortened the winter by playing another month of baseball, and they've kept extremely busy in the winter. Pitchers and catchers report in just about a month!
  23. Yeah, this came as quite the shock. IU does an excellent job keeping things hush, hush until something absolutely needs to be said. Hep seems to be recovering fine though, and that's good to hear.
