  1. QUOTE(mreye @ Nov 7, 2005 -> 09:42 AM) Bif time! He was on Bob and Tom talking about it once. He said he was freaking out on the inside doing Double Dare. Yeah, he never really knew what it was until he did this talkshow in the mid-to late 90s.
  2. QUOTE(Soxy @ Nov 7, 2005 -> 09:38 AM) I've heard Marc Summers has a serious case of OCD. . . Yeah, basically everyone, at least on my mom's side in my family has it. I'm pretty insane about organization and neatness too. It drives me pretty crazy, if things aren't in their place.
  3. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Nov 7, 2005 -> 01:11 AM) The last two shows rocked, I don't even remember the first two. They were awesome. Mike O'Malley, "The Rick" on ESPN hosted it. Nick Arcade was just every child's dream show.
  4. Good to hear everyone was safe in your family, Rex. I could hear those sirens here last night. Crazy stuff. ------------- My weekend wasn't the best of weekends. I had an exam earlier tonight, and then I have another one tomorrow. So the majority of the weekend went towards studying. I'd say the highlight of the weekend was watching the IU exhibition on Friday night.
  5. QUOTE(infohawk @ Nov 6, 2005 -> 08:31 PM) I don't want to perpetuate false information, but I thought I heard somewhere that they nixed the home run porch and the only renovation left was the green seats. Anyone know if this is true? You are correct. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...lpark/index.jsp
  6. QUOTE(WSFAN35 @ Nov 6, 2005 -> 02:57 PM) There is no way that this will be the last Spiderman. They're going to make em until they don't make money anymore. I'm pretty sure this is the last one with Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, and co.
  7. QUOTE(hi8is @ Nov 6, 2005 -> 02:29 PM) when in gods name are they going to do VENOM!?!?!?!?!? It's hard to imagine Topher Grace being Venom, but hopefully they do it. From what I understand, this is the last Spiderman.
  8. QUOTE(Kogs35 @ Nov 5, 2005 -> 10:51 PM) i was at the game but had to leave early in the 4th, cought the end at home, and i dont mind homers, but when they act so blind on air its disgusting QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Nov 5, 2005 -> 10:53 PM) What do you think of Hawk Harrelson? Good enough.
  9. QUOTE(Kogs35 @ Nov 5, 2005 -> 10:51 PM) i was at the game but had to leave early in the 4th, cought the end at home, and i dont mind homers, but when they act so blind on air its disgusting What do you think of Hawk Harrelson?
  10. QUOTE(Kogs35 @ Nov 5, 2005 -> 10:13 PM) f*** the nba zebras may they all rot in hell . i f***ing hate every f***ing one. there was no reason to call a foul on tyson. and btw f*** u marv albert u f***ing moron :finger Since Marv Albert controls the outcome of the game.....
  11. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Nov 5, 2005 -> 06:58 PM) Hell I thought DJ ran like he had a broken foot the first time I saw him play in his senior year of HS. He runs well, but somewhat awkwardly, normally. Didn't see him last night though. Yeah, that was another thing. I always noticed that last year, that he almost always walks like he's hurt. However, it did look a little worse and more noticable last night. My roomy, who's a mananger, said they were trying to pinpoint on when this could have happened on the tapes, and they couldn't, since he's ALWAYS ran like that. At least it sounds like things are better than they initially were. I'd love to have DJ and AJ both back in the lineup for the Duke game.
  12. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Nov 5, 2005 -> 05:41 PM) Buehrle's wasn't actually a stress fracture. They still don't have a clue waht it was, but it wasn't a stress fracture. Yeah, I know. I'm just saying how we thought we lost Buehrle for a month at least, due to a broken foot. No one knew how that ended up getting out in the press like that, but he was back out there right away. Here's hoping DJ White gets the "Mark Buehrle break."
  13. QUOTE(LowerCaseRepublican @ Nov 5, 2005 -> 05:39 PM) He's the kind of guy you love to hate -- but unlike so many of the trash talking slapnutz there are, he's able to back it up on the field with fantastic play. That's the crazy thing and why he gets away with so much. He's such an amazing player on the field; however, you can only take so much of it. The bad's basically outweighing the good here.
  14. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Nov 5, 2005 -> 05:33 PM) The 2 week report is certainly more recent. I am still personally troubled though by the fact that the word "Inconclusive" is still being used abotu the stress fracture. MRI scheduled for Monday. My friend is majoring in Athletic Training, and by the way we saw him running in the first half, she immediately thought stress fracture too. That was the initial reports too. Hopefully this is just a Mark Buehrle break, and it's just not as bad as anyone thought. We'll soon find out.
  15. IU football was never below .500 until about 3 pm on November 5th. It's improvement.
  16. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Nov 5, 2005 -> 04:50 PM) ESPN is also saying just 2 weeks...they're saying the "Stress Fracture" tests were inconclusive. Hmmm...why am I thinking of another mythical foot stress fracture starting a drive towards a championship right now? Hopefully these are more accurate results. I just saw this, and this would mean he'd be back in more than enough time for Duke. Ratliff should be back by then too.
  17. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Nov 5, 2005 -> 08:36 AM) Damn, I was just about to post that article on DJ when I saw you already had it covered. Perhaps in the long run it could help by giving some of the new players a chance to grow. But this is not the season for "perhaps" or patience. Excuses aren't going to work, so I hope we can get through this early and still win. Like greasy said f*** f*** f***!!! Like I said in the earlier one though, they really didn't miss a beat. Hopefully, the depth of this team will pay off huge. All the new guys looked great. Calloway and Monroe makes it look like we'll finally have a real PG. Killingsworth and the two foreigners (Allen and Dinc) looked sharp. Also, Sean Kline was a presence last night with 13. He looked to bulk up with a little muscle since the last I've seen him, and he could even be a solid option down low. We certainly got the personnel this year.
  18. To a great poster...Have a good one!
  19. I must say, if DJ is out 6 weeks, we should have the depth to handle it this year. DJ did score 13 last night, and he didn't touch the court in the 2nd. However, you couldn't really tell. The offense was looking awesome last night. The Bracey Wright offense is extinct. Our players move. It obviously hurts to lose a guy like DJ for an extended period of time, because he can't do anything but make your team better. However, this year, I think this team can overcome an injury like this and still come out alright.
  20. f*** f*** f*** f***... Here is what I kind of mentioned, but wasn't sure on the details... http://www.indystar.com/apps/pbcs.dll/arti.../511050439/1069
  21. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Nov 5, 2005 -> 12:19 AM) Is there any talk that IU will try to run more this year with added depth? I know coach K saw what Roy did last year and will try to mimmick it this year. Yep, that's the plan big time. Here's an article from the school newspaper speaking of that. http://www.idsnews.com/subsite/story.php?i...317&adid=sports
  22. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Nov 4, 2005 -> 11:57 PM) Frasor 7 points, 4 assists, and looked like he should be the starting PG on the year. Much more comfortable than the 2nd year Quentin Thomas. Also, Greasy, who will play the 5 for IU this year? Killingsworth with White at the 4? Or will they split time at the 4? When they were both on the floor tonight, it looked as if Killingsworth was the 5. That looks like something that could go either way.
  23. QUOTE(3 BeWareTheNewSox 5 @ Nov 4, 2005 -> 08:34 PM) http://yessss.ytmnd.com/ Best music ever!
