IU's going to be so deep this year. It's ridiculous. IU won tonight 93-65. Killingworth and Vaden both dropped 17 in the starting lineup. DJ didn't play the 2nd half though; he did come back out towards the end of the game in street clothes. It's going to be interesting to see what comes of that. -

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Nov 4, 2005 -> 04:21 PM) Shaq is officially down for 2-4 weeks. So if we get up to 4 weeks, Reggie's "monther" comment was that absurd after all. -

QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Nov 4, 2005 -> 03:24 PM) EDIT: I do like Trent Reznor's recent take on this. "With Teeth" is an absolutely empty jewel case--well, actually it's on cardboard. It's only content? The cd. He says, why go ahead and produce colorful artwork, lyrics, etc. when this cd is going to get put on a computer, tossed on a playlist, or downloaded via the internet? Holy f***. This better be a typo, or he STILL is charging $40 for this CD. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...ab=4&id=1445019

Didn't Delgado dub the South Side of Chicago as his least favorite place to play?

QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Nov 4, 2005 -> 01:42 PM) Works for me!!!! Although, I don't think they'll give anything away that can be thrown on the field. Speaking of rings... The ticket rep we get our group tickets through said that he gets a ring? He said all the full time employees do. I find that kinda hard to believe , but I guess it's possible. Can anyone confirm? Steff? I wouldn't be surprised. Everyone who ever said the word "Red Sox" got one last year.

QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Nov 4, 2005 -> 01:29 PM) There's a major difference when you are broadcaster for a team, there's really no comparison between Stone, Hawk, Farmer, etc to Reggie. They are either paid by the team they are broadcasting for or haven't played for the team in 10+ years. Reggie is a national broadcaster and Reggie is just coming off a very long stint with the Pacers and whether he means to or not, he's gonna root for his teammates and team that showed him the love for 20 years. I realize you love Reggie and the Pacers and this argument will go nowhere, so I'll stop. Reggie is getting paid by a national network to broadcast games. He's going to the games he's assigned to. Would it make much sense for the new guy to refuse his assignments so soon at the new company? He doesn't have that kind of leverage. Complaining about it on a message board is going to accomplish nothing. TNT is who you would want to talk to. And if you want to voice your opinion: E-mail: [email protected] OR Turner Sports One CNN Center 13 South Tower Atlanta, GA 30303 -

QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Nov 4, 2005 -> 12:10 PM) Reggie also received the gameball from Anthony Johnson. His "monther" comment really got on my nerves also. How the hell do you know how long a player is gonna be out just by looking? He's not psychic and sounded ignorant for stating "He's gonna be out for a month" right as Shaq was being walked off the floor. It was absurd, no reason to even make the comment. If you see a players knee get torn apart, sure you can judge that he will be out for a while. But seeing a guy come down on another guys foot and stating he will be out for a month? Thats just weird. I'm not saying Reggie is a bad commentator, I actually think he's very good and to go even further, one of the best I have heard. He's a refreshing new basketball educated voice. But he doesn't have any business doing Pacer's games this year working on a national telecast. Reggie didn't ask for the game ball. Was he supposed to run away when they came up and gave it to him unexpectedly? It was Albert and Kerr that mentioned it happened. Reggie didn't say..."Ohhh look, I got the game ball. Thanks Pacers AKA my old team!" The Pacers are going to be on TV a lot. Reggie's going to be on TV a lot; there's no way to really avoid that. With that basis of thinking, Hawk, DJ, and Farmer should never do Sox games. Stone should never do Chicago games. Steve Kerr shouldn't do Spurs and Bulls games, etc. This list could go on forever. That comment's pretty ludicrous if you ask me. -

QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Nov 4, 2005 -> 12:12 AM) Exactly, thats the ONLY way it will work. Walker has to be the third option and only take the 3's when he's wide open. He will get some open looks with Wade and Shaq out there, he just can't be a ballhog here also or the seasons over. When Posey returns it should really help, you will know who the only options on offense are on the floor. As for the announcing, they could have atleast put Tim Hardaway with the announcers also to openly cheer for the Heat to balance it out :-P. Reggie is not Hawk Harrelson. If you watched opening night, he picked the Pistons to win the East. He was dissin' the Pacers. -
Congrats to a great poster!

I still don't know how all those players are going to work together in Miami. They all just need to step back and let DWade and Shaq (if healthy) take that team on their back. -
Have a good one Jim!

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Nov 3, 2005 -> 10:52 PM) Only 2 games back and Ron Artest is already taking out players........ And there we go it's tied. You're just a little behind. 4:13 left Indy up 97-93. -

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Nov 3, 2005 -> 10:47 PM) How'd he do that? And it looks like the Pacers are pulling a "Mini Bobcats" from last night. Stepped on Artest's foot, going up for a basket. Hurt his leg. Not sure what the deal is. -
