    10 Grand!

QUOTE(SnB @ Oct 31, 2005 -> 05:44 PM) The Snb and greasy show will never be matched. ^^^
  3. And Podsednik and the rest of the Chicago White Sox get World Series rings.
  4. QUOTE(Felix @ Oct 31, 2005 -> 03:34 PM) Yea, the Sox will buy him out and re-sign him for less. If not, he won't be playing next year. I dont see him anywhere but Chicago. I hope that's the case. It's kind of selfish on my part, but I don't want to see him even playing, if he can't play with the Sox.
  5. As you guys all know, I hope he's back and finishes his career here. What do you guys think? Will he be here? I'm thinking we obviously buy out his contract for the $3.5M, and get him down for an incentive-laden contract with options on the White Sox side.
  6. Here we go again.... Indy (7-0) @ NE (4-3) Who do you guys got this year and why?
  7. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Oct 31, 2005 -> 03:20 PM) My best guess is that his situation depends on the Frank situation. If Frank is brought back I believe Carl will be as well. I have to disagree there. I honestly think Carl's done here, whether Frank's back or not. Thank you for your services though Jurassic. You certainly did your part in getting us that ring.

  9. There's something wrong with you, if you didn't feel awesome for the guy when you saw him get that ball from PK.
  10. I wonder if Opening Day could be pushed up, so we can get some good TV time for a nice long ring ceremony.
  11. Yep. He'll be on there. The one thing I thought was cool is how big a face Ozzie is of this team. I was looking at the WS jerseys, and Ozzie is one of the few you can order w/out having to customize it. It's kind of cool that that is on there. I can't think of many other teams that would put a manager's jersey in the team store, and people would actually be interested in buying it.
  12. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Oct 30, 2005 -> 06:55 PM) Is the parade archived on any of the local news websites? I haven't seen it anywhere. http://cbs2chicago.com/video/?cid=29
  13. QUOTE(Greg Hibbard @ Oct 30, 2005 -> 06:51 PM) I think I'm gonna try to write everything down while I still remember it, and I would encourage everyone to do the same. Before we forget - let's remember exactly what we were doing when everything happened - the Iguchi homer - the AJ ball - the Podsednik game winner- the Blum dinger - the clincher. This also begs the question - will we see a White Sox book in the near future? There should be a few. The Trib has one on their site that you can call for. You can also get the SI one too. I would not be surprised to see at least a couple more out by the holidays.
  14. Glad to see he got to see one of the best Sox moments ever. RIP.
  15. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Oct 30, 2005 -> 02:29 PM) The end of baseball season means one thing..... HOT STOVE SEASON IS UPON US Over the next few months we will be happy, sad, pissed and overjoyed as moves are made. Lets enjoy what happened and soon enough we will have all sorts of cool moves that are made throughout baseball. Hotstove is an interesting time. And it'll of course be quickly forgotten, but please remember to be patient. We didn't make our first big splash until about a week until Christmas last year. That was the earliest I remember us doing something like that, since KW's been here.
  16. Here's a couple more related to FOD's:
  17. Thanks Jim! Once again a classy post from you. We've all enjoyed getting some additional insight on the Twins and what not, so here's hoping you stick around for seasons to come.
