  2. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 09:16 PM) And Garcia starts the 7th. Does Ozzie not learn from previous mistakes? Not cool Oz. First time anyone gets on, get him out.
  3. QUOTE(CubsSuck1 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 08:07 PM) Hawk, seriously STFU Is he stretching unstretchable balls?
  4. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 05:17 PM) By the way...did anyone else catch that the IU/Kentucky game was broadcast on ESPN Classic? I couldn't figure that one out, but it was enjoyable to watch it out here. I'm at all the games. I'm a chair for SAB this year, and one of my areas is football and revenue sales. I wish we didn't have a bye week with the high we're riding. However, we've had a couple interesting games in our last few matchups against the Badgers, as the article I posted said.
  5. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Sep 19, 2005 -> 04:34 PM) I have a good feeling about tonight. Same here. I got this feeling that our team's suddenly going to be morphed back into the team of the first half against Cleveland this series and anyone we face the rest of the way.
  6. Haha I didn't know this was actually for real. I have a couple friends who told me about this last week.
  7. Winning is definitely a good thing. IU has a bye this week, but next week's game in Wisconsin next week will be on ESPN2. http://iuhoosiers.collegesports.com/sports.../091905aab.html
  8. Colts win 10-3. Peyton didn't have his best, but the defense was still super solid. Very good football weekend for me w/ the Colts and Hoosiers. It can be upgraded to a great weekend if the Pats end up losing at Carolina.
  9. Re-sign Edge. Please. Colts 7-3 with 8:27 to go in the 4th. --------------------------------------- Also, Pats are down 20-17 in Carolina early in the 4th.
  10. Colts-Jags 0-0 tie at the end of the first half. Peyton's not looking all that great. Defenses are owning this one.
  11. It's funny...I've lost some of my optimism. I'm still more optimistic than pessimistic when it comes to the Sox or anything; however, we've had this bad of a slide and still have the best AL record.
  12. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2005 @ Sep 18, 2005 -> 01:57 AM) I can't even walk outside without a Cubs fan pointing and laughing at me. I would bring up 2003, but this is so much worse. Cub fans are f***tarded. Their's is still worse. They were 5 outs away from making it to the World Series. They had two chances at home to put them away with their "aces" on the mound. However, none of that happened because goats are not extinct and a Marlin hit a foul ball. :rolly Last I checked, our season's not done. It's far from it.
  13. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 17, 2005 -> 11:10 PM) I think we have to have doubts as to whether or not they'll be better, just because we haven't seen Mike Davis do anything recently that deserves credit. You can put all the talent in the world on a basketball court, but if you have a coach who's just not fit for the job, they won't succeed. Davis really h asn't done jack squat since he was coaching Bobby Knight's team. The players we've seen him moving around just haven't lived up to what they should be, and people have been leaving/avoiding IU because of it. I hate that argument, "Bobby Knight's team." Bobby Knight didn't take that team to the Final Four. I'm still pro-Davis, but I've started going the other way the past few years. If this team doesn't go at least sweet 16, he'll be gone.

  15. QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Sep 17, 2005 -> 02:36 PM) It seems to me people are glowing about Indiana's young recruits and talent each of the last few years and it hasn't translated. I like UConn too. I do however think Texas won't be that good and I also feel BC at 5 might reflect a future ranking but they aren't goign to do much when it counts That definitely wasn't the same thing. We haven't really been considered a top 25 team since Dec/Jan of the 2002-2003 season. I was saying earlier, I'm surprised IU's already getting a ranking that high before they even play a game, but I have no doubts they'll be there or better when it's said and done.
  16. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Sep 17, 2005 -> 11:21 AM) Good work UB Concerts! (Former UB Director here) Haha, I like what they do. They got David Spade here tonight. I wanted to go, but I'm a cheap bastard and it sold out.
