  1. For all who have left for the weekend and those who haven't, have a great time at SoxTalk. We'll want to see some pictures and hear how everything went, when you all come back! Go Sox!
  2. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 14, 2005 -> 01:07 AM) Ya, most definately. That or its a bug only noticed on mozilla. Just as a heads up, I'm still using IE, and I'm seeing it that way.
  3. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 09:56 PM) Even Boyer has his flaws. Ha well played....
  4. I just tuned in. He also said greasywheels121 is the greatest poster on the site.
  5. QUOTE(3E8 @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 09:52 PM) I knew it was bound to happen, didn't think twice in a row. Ha damn, it took me too long to find a roster list w/out numbers and weights. I didn't feel like typing all the players out.
  6. Infielders: Paul Konerko Ross Gload Willie Harris Juan Uribe Joe Crede A.J. Pierzynski Ben Davis Wilson Valdez Frank Thomas Outfielders: Aaron Rowand Scott Podsednik Carl Everett Timo Perez Jermaine Dye Pitchers: Mark Buehrle Freddy Garcia Orlando Hernandez Jose Contreras Jon Garland Damaso Marte Shingo Takatsu Cliff Pollitte Dustin Hermanson Luis Vizcaino Neal Cotts Jon Adkins
  7. QUOTE(Goldmember @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 09:20 PM) who voted less? how crappy is your comp if you have less than a 640x480 resolution...
  8. http://media.ebaumsworld.com/index.php?e=bubbrubb.wmv This is like a Chappelle show skit....
  9. QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 08:17 PM) I was reading the press release over on whitesox.com about this, and not once did they mention who would be doing the games. You think it would mention Hawk, since I'm sure he'll be doing some if not all of the games... I just saw that. I wouldn't be too concerned with that. It seems it's almost a given that Hawk and DJ will be doing Sox games. Wouldn't it be weird if Chimp and Stone started doing Sox games, since they left the north side?
  10. I think that would be a good idea. I vote "yay."
  11. QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 06:37 PM) I don't think any one person should be coach and GM. I think they need to worry about their defense and Farve before worrying about Sherman though. I agree about the first part. However, I really don't know what Favre will do, but that same team could make the playoffs in the NFC next year. We'll see though.
  12. QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 05:54 PM) I think thats 29 other teams theories as well Thanks for the smartass comment. I appreciated it. What I meant was that KW has put together a group of guys that have a much better chance to score some runs on a CONSISTENT basis. We have the ability to steal some bases, bunt some runners in, and take the extra base on the hit. And we still have the ability to put up some decent power numbers.
  13. QUOTE(IlliniKrush @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 05:34 PM) PTI right now... Kornheiser is dressed as the ace of spades. It's freakin hilarious Ha this is definitely my favorite show. TK's always dressing up in random stuff.
  14. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 05:33 PM) Lived and died on the long ball, speed doesnt slump. That's an excellent point. This team just needs to get on base, and we have a chance to score.
  15. QUOTE(AnthraxFan93 @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 04:25 PM) Umm Min Twins? They have had major injuries to the staff and postion players and minor leguers were able to step up, same thing with the ANgels last year. I am so sick of the injury card being played.. that is a cop out answer in baseball. How many teams have won it all since KW's been GM? All other 29 teams? I don't think so.
  16. I also think it's cool how they'll be passing out donuts and such to the fans waiting in line for tickets on Friday.
  17. QUOTE(Loaiza21 @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 11:57 AM) Wilson Valdez doesn't deserve to be on this team, he's done nothing to prove he can hit up here yet so we shouldn't have him as backup option #1 for any reason. Spend the money to get Iguchi in here! But what has Iguchi done to prove he can hit up here?

  19. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 11:40 AM) Cleveland can have him. I think I would have been more worried about the acquisition, if it was Joey.
  20. Well this just leaves Iguchi. Iguchi would be nice, but honestly, I have no problem with what this team looks like right now. It wouldn't hurt to save whatever extra money the team plans on spending this year for the trade deadline when we may find better options.
