  1. I would love Rollins. That would be a solid 2B combo with Uribe and Rollins up the middle. Harris would be a very versatile player to have if he's placed on the bench too.
  2. QUOTE(Goldmember @ Jan 9, 2005 -> 03:23 PM) he stood up for and backed his brother and father... That's pretty lame if that's the reasoning.... That's a lose-lose for Peyton. He's a jackass for defending his family, and he'd be a jackass if he didn't.
  3. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jan 9, 2005 -> 03:12 PM) Nope, Ahole in my book. I hate the Manning family. I hope Eli and Peyton never win a superbowl and that Peyton somehow catches a case of the "Sucks". I can understand the deal with Eli, but why about Peyton?
  4. QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 9, 2005 -> 02:39 PM) Don't know if anyone can beat the Colts. They would probably play at NE next week, right? I know they shut Manning down last season but this offense is better than last year and more weapons have developed, plus no Ty Law for NE. Yep, we would be playing NE next weekend.... Manning didn't have a bad game at all really in the first game of the season in NE. We shall see.....
  5. She's hot, but I can't stand either of the Ciara songs that are on the radio.
  6. QUOTE(Cali @ Jan 9, 2005 -> 10:08 AM) Brian Regan is pretty damn funny, I agree. I loved his "Wanna go halves on a pie?" bit. That one always cracks me up, My favorite is the whole thing about "directions and microwaving of poptarts"
  7. Wow....I don't think anyone in the building thought we were going to do that. We played a great GAME. We didn't just play one good half and squeak by. Wow, that was nice & comforting. Bracey actually had a pretty good shooting game and really had a quiet 30 tonight. White played great off the ball all night. Our next game is West Lafayette on the 15th at Purdue....
  8. QUOTE(Mr. Showtime @ Jan 8, 2005 -> 07:02 PM) Ray here again would be interesting. Before he was always counted on to be the lead off guy and run. I think now with Rowand, Uribe, and Pod at the top he can be slid down in the order and he can focus on hitting. Very true....It always seemed he had better numbers when he wasn't leading off.
  9. No order really, but my favorites right now are... Bill Cosby Dane Cook Pablo Francisco Dave Chappelle Brian Regan
  10. Here's an article spoofing such commercials for the Super Bowl... http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=ads/050107
  11. QUOTE(knightni @ Jan 8, 2005 -> 05:42 PM) The Seattle/ St Louis game is already playing. He got it in before then. His post was at 4:13. The game started at 4:30.
  12. I just switched to that Buerhle and FG one you made. I really like that one being back on this monitor. I like the USCF in the background. The whole background was just black on the monitor at home.
  13. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jan 8, 2005 -> 04:48 PM) I saw the flash animation for it that was mentioned on here....it's damn catchy..... http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?sh...1&st=&p=entry
  14. QUOTE(Purdue129 @ Jan 8, 2005 -> 04:25 PM) I'm sure it'll turn around soon. This is the best Illinois team I've ever seen and the worst Purdue team in 30+ years. My friend told me to turn this on. Wow.
  15. Now that I'm back on my computer at school, I was just looking at these. That Gload and Borch one is too hilarious.
  16. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 8, 2005 -> 01:58 PM) NC has over 100 points with 5 mintues left to play in the game. They now are beating MD by 42 points with just under 3 mintues to play. That's insane. Maryland was up by 5 in a good first half, and then NC went on like 278723-3 run.
  17. This is kind of intriguing. I wouldn't mind taking Ray back on, if San Fran can cover some of that contract.
  18. Hey... I just got an e-mail about Sox Fest, and there's a picture of some Sox wristband they're selling. Would it be possible to for someone to purchase a couple of those for me, and for me to pay you back? I'm big on those wristband type things, and having a Sox one would be kick ass. Thanks.
  19. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Jan 7, 2005 -> 03:19 PM) anyone that's seen Garden State would remember Frau Frau's "Let Go" big fan of that song right now.... That whole soundtrack is pretty solid.
  20. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 7, 2005 -> 01:12 AM) It's a shame to read KW describing the chances of signing Iguchi as "remote". As with AJ, we'll have to wait it out and see what happens. I remember all the stuff saying after the interviews KW wouldn't sign AJ. Like you said, let's just wait a little bit on this. Who else is even looking at Iguchi?
  21. Steff will love this, Kobe's jersey is no longer in the top 50 of the NBA's best sellers...
  22. I still think we get some kind of IFer. KW's really come through on the plan he had early in the offseason, I really love how this team just looks more balanced. We have 5 SPs now, we have speed, and we have power. I'm really psyched for the season to start. I give the offseason an A.
  23. Jermaine O'Neal drops 32 tonight, and with that he'll be donating $32,000 to the tsunami relief.
