  1. Honestly.... Freddy, AJ >>>> Reed, Olivo I like his thinking on that one.
  2. QUOTE(aboz56 @ Jan 6, 2005 -> 04:49 PM) This is BIG. Thank you Kenny, you have just released yourself from a Soxfest bashing. I hope this ends a lot of the KW bashing. I still think we probably get some kind of middle IFer; however, KW's done a hell of a job this offseason. It's hard to argue the plan he's put in place. If this team doesn't go places, I'd have a hard time blaming it on KW.
  3. AWESOME!!!!!!!! Wow, what a great time to be on SoxTalk! AJ and KW!!!
  4. QUOTE(Brian @ Jan 5, 2005 -> 11:08 PM) Didn't notice ESPN 2 switched to the game. Damn. And I was waiting for this stupid update window to update. WOLVERINES PULL OFF THE UPSET AT IOWA!!!!!! 65-63!!!!! Horton's first game back from his knee injury. Congrats to UM. At least someone did something right tonight. Good god, IU and turnovers tonight. :puke
  5. QUOTE(jackie hayes @ Jan 5, 2005 -> 09:47 PM) Radio or newspaper? If radio, where is he still on? I thought he was pretty good, I was disappointed when he was canned from ESPN radio. This was on PTI. Probably one of my favorite shows.
  6. QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jan 5, 2005 -> 12:00 AM) lol that was great when Ashlee was getting the boos. Best part of the game. Tony Kornheiser! He said she cheated. She went on SNL, and blamed the whole thing on her band. "She's the Jason Giambi of popular music."
  7. QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Jan 5, 2005 -> 04:18 PM) I'm loving those hats and tats.
  8. The 49ers have quickly become the Oakland A's of the NFL, except for that whole talent thing....
  9. QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Jan 5, 2005 -> 02:27 PM) I didn't know where this should go but figured hell it will go here... anyway, I found it interesting that on the Sox home page under rosters. Their depth chart has S Pods playing left and Rowand playing Center. I would feel more comfortable with it like that, for just the reason Rowand is familiar with the wind and the field more so than Pods...thoughts? http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb...ex.jsp?c_id=cws Agreed. I've really felt comfortable with Rowand in CF. I like the idea of having Pods in LF too. I think he'll actually be better suited for that position.
  10. This is sick...In Ft. Wayne, we have a whole inch of ice on the ground. It looks like snow, but it's all ice. We're continuing to get more and more snow later on. Winter :fyou
  11. I may try one when I get back to school with photoshop.....I've got one in mind...
  12. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 5, 2005 -> 10:10 AM) So to start the speculation, who do you bring in to succeed Davis. And a really silly question, could it be possible to bring back Knight from TT as he has been pretty quiet down there... I honestly don't think Knight would consider it. He really left Bloomington with a bitter taste in his mouth.
  13. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Jan 5, 2005 -> 10:08 AM) Andy Katz on ESPN.com Here is another similar story. It seems as if Davis has accepted that the end is near. What bugs me though is that in both of these pieces, it points as the main reason people want him out is that because he is not Bob Knight. I'm sure there is still some of that around, but I really believe that if his team played differently and didn't look lost on offense half the time, that the people of Indiana would embrace him and his teams. Believe it or not, a lot of that is still about Knight. There's a couple IU boards I check out on occasion, and the allegiance to Knight still seems to be the biggest reason a lot of these people don't like Davis.
  14. I've read the ESPN.com article, and everything about if IU lost to Ball State, Davis would lose his job was complete BS. Greenspan thought that was ridiculous. Maybe this is Davis' last year, but Greenspan's smart enough to know to not do anything before the season even ends. The freshmen are really playing solid the past few games. We could get something started in the Big Ten. We play at Northwestern tonight to start the Big Ten.
  15. Jermaine O'Neal, Kobe, and McGrady are reportedly giving $1,000 for every point they score on Thursday night to UNICEF for the tsunami relief. That'd be crazy if JO could drop another 50 on that night.
  16. That Billy Koch one kicks ass....too good.
  17. That's great.... "C'mon the Sawx won the World Series!" "But my baby!"
  18. Very cool Tex. Thanks for posting that; it's kind of interesting to see the '93 and '00 weren't higher in the bunch.
  19. Another MIA, but a solid poster... Have a good one!
  20. As much as I liked Auburn this year, this should guarantee that USC should not have to share the national championship this year.
  21. I saw 'Meet the Fockers' today, and I thought it was okay. However, it was exactly as I expected, not as good as the first.
  22. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Jan 4, 2005 -> 09:39 PM) Jermaine O'Neal is having a pretty decent game. http://www.nba.com/games/20050104/MILIND/livestats.html Haha....55 points....good stuff....Jackson's supposed to be back on Jan 26....We're almost back.
  23. This is great. I dispise OU for some reason, seeing White play this bad in his final game is sweet....
