  1. I should have some word on this guy really soon. My buddy became a manager for Indiana basketball today, and he's going to be at AH 2-7 everyday now. I'll be able to hear a lot from him, and I'll start hearing more later on. Right now, you probably know more than I do, with you seeing him play. I've just been able to read a couple little bios about what kind of player he is. I will keep you posted though.
  2. I know with the student package, we're guaranteed at the least 6 home games that are not during Thanksgiving or Christmas break, though there are games at that time. I know they keep so many tickets for each game for the public to purchase. If I don't get a ticket to the UNC game on December 1 (my b-day ), I plan on trying to buy it through the public route. I could try buying two tickets for that, if you would like to come down for that. I'm just a freshman, so I'm by no means an expert on this system just yet. I guess this is the first year that IU has done the whole ticket ordering process online. I'll keep you posted, and also here is this link from the IU athletics site. http://iuhoosiers.com/tickets/0405mbbsingle.pdf EDIT: Looking at that, that's probably if you wanted to buy a package. However, that does include buying the Ball State game at Conseco and the Kentucky game at Freedom Hall.
  3. Tied 2-2 after Pujols HR in the bottom of the first.... Beltran went yahtzee in the top part of the first inning...
  4. Awesome...I'll definitely have to talk to you about that when it gets a little closer. I totally understand about not wearing red. I had a friend from Purdue come down just for the IU-Mich State game, and told him to bring a red shirt or borrow one of mine. I saw some people walking around with a Purdue b-ball shirt on at the tailgaiting at the first game of the year, he got so disgraced. I'm planning on going to the IU-PU football game to close the season, and I definitely don't plan on wearing any red at the time. I know how it works.
  5. Student ticket sales stopped here last Friday. We had to get our groups and all that stuff arranged. We won't get them until about a week or 2 before the season starts. I see we're at UI on 2/6/05, I might have to take you up on that. We'll see where things are at that point. Does it cost anything to get into your Midnight Madness? We have to donate 1 canned good to get into ours.
  6. Bah...I have 2 midterms on SATURDAY....one from 9:00-10:30AM and another from 10:45-12:45PM..... I also have a couple next Wednesday....I cannot wait until these are over with...
  7. IU's midnight madness is Friday night....I can't wait... Also....my good friend from HS just told me yesterday that he made it past the 4 rounds of interviews and was one of the 4 freshman managers selected. I think it's pretty cool. He got so much free gear yesterday.
  8. I would not be surprised if they end up putting the Yanks-Sawx back on Fox...... :headshake
  9. Somewhat true. It's mainly because IU doesn't have a true student section in Assembly Hall. However, they do provide the largest number of student seats of any Big Ten school. Last season, the 12,000 student tickets sold ranked among the highest number in the country and were four times higher than the next school, Purdue, with about 3300. Of AH's 17,257 seats, 7,800 were devoted to students last season.
  10. Weren't you one of the people discrediting what Atlanta has done????
  11. http://www.wane.com/Global/story.asp?S=2415755 There's videos of this "UFO" and what not at the link...
  12. Why the f*** did you have to run your mouth Shilling.....
  13. He's being a little cocky there, but James Naismith, the guy who created basketball, went to KU.
  14. I'm watching this, and it's all the bulls*** they did before the game that makes me hate the Yanks and BoSox....
  15. He did the same when I posted this the first time in the "...radar" thread.
