I used to love the X-Men cartoons when I was little. I loved the first movie, the 2nd one not so much. I'm a big backer of the Spiderman movies so far. I can't wait until the third one.

They're all putting up close to the same numbers that Ray Durham did while he was in Chicago; some reason Ray's numbers were acceptable....

I don't know which one would be the result of this the most, but I can't believe we're only .5 a game up on the team we've played to a 7-3 record up to this point. We could murder the Twins in the season series, and we still could not get in the playoffs. I thought that was one of the problems that prevented the Sox from getting into the playoffs, beating the Twins. I guess not.

In reality we should be up by more games than that. I forgot which thread I posted it in, but Jacque Jones was right in what he said. He said it's really surprising that the Twins are still even in the thick of things, by a .5 game even, with the way the Sox have played the Twins. If the Twins ever get hot, it's going to be hell for the Sox.

I know exactly what you're trying to say here Pastime. Uribe was brought here really just to replace Tony Graffanino and his numbers. We just needed Uribe to be that utility guy off the bench. Though his numbers have dipped; he's exceeded what Tony G would have done at this point in the season 1000 times. WSF is right; we just need to give Uribe some time off. He's already done his job and then some up to this point.

That's what happened to me too; I just thought we might have been able to solve them today. I had to leave right after the Sox AB where Jose had the 2 run HR to put us up 2-0. I was going to work pretty happy; of course I come home to a White Sox loss. Blah. At least we're still in 1st.
