That's pretty crazy how the 2 replacement players in the Derby went to the finals.

Kenny Mayne is hi-larious. The Mayne Events he does during NFL Countdown are so hysterical. I wish they would have him used more on ESPN than just that stupid Hear Say game on Sportscenter.

Damn this game is absolutely sick!!! My friend got it and he called me over tonight. We were IU of course, and we only played on the varsity ranking. It was sweet; we played ND in South Bend for the first game. The crowd was awesome; I loved that. It's awesome how the match sticks change throughout the game. We won that game in OT 17-14. We then played the rivalry game with Purdue at Bloomington; damn we took an ass beating there, 45-12. It also wasn't much for a crowd either; it was like crickets after playing at Notre Dame. Next, we just played a quarter in Flordia; that crowd was INSANE to the fullest. Awesome stuff. After that, we messed around with a dynasty. We simulated the first season, and went through the recruiting processes. I had a blast just running through the recruiting process. Awesome awesome game!

I'm surprised I'm not the only one, but I voted for Tiger Woods. I love Madden, NCAA Football, March Madness, Baseball, etc. However, I devote the most of my time to Tiger Woods. I'm really psyched for the '05 version. The create a player on 2004 was just sick, you could create a golfer to look exactly like you. They only had 25 sliders in that one to tweak attributes on your face (eye size, nose width, etc.) They have 50 sliders in the new game; that's going to be insane. EDIT: Give EA some credit though; every single title on that poll is solid. They also have made the past few Bond games; those have been quality too.

Okay, now that it's getting closer to the deadline, and we're in the considerations for RJ, I'm f***ing excited as hell. Imagine that rotation. Loaiza would become our FIFTH starter. RJ Buerhle Garcia Garland Loaiza That'd be INSANE!

Gammons actually mentioned us as a possibility for Randy Johnson, but he thinks it's 50/50 that RJ goes anywhere at all.

The little blip about it on EA's website has it sounding like it'll be massively improving. The graphics look like they'll be better; you can at least tell that's Bracey for once. I feel it's probably a year behind NCAA Football in greatness, but it's definitely getting there.

That's why I won't be using IU in the game. Power house and all.... Yeah, I'll be using IU; I can't wait for this though. Also just a few months until NCAA March Madness 2005 comes out too...

Fans don't vote for the pitchers. As predicted though, Clemens and Mulder were announced the starters today.

I'm sure they would try to sign him long term if they bring him over; however, I wonder if Nomar would be interested in staying there or if he's still set on going to the West Coast since he won't be in Boston.

This really reminds me of the episode of Seinfeld when Jerry dates that Cherokee girl. Jerry tries to prevent from saying anything that could be racist. Reservations, Indian giver, etc... That was a good one; Jerry and the girl are out on the street looking for a place to eat, and Jerry suggests Chinese. He sees a mailman in the mailbox getting mail out, and he asks him if he would know where the nearest Chinese place would be. The mailman takes his head out, and he ends up being a Chinese guy. "Ohhh since I Chinese, you think I would know where all the Chinese restaurants are. How would you like it if I asked you where all the Burger and Hot Dog places are?"

1-0!!! I was at the Thursday comeback against Anaheim. I'll be at the game on the 24th against Detroit also; I'm trying to persuade my parents to see if we can get walkup tickets to that Friday night game on the 23rd also, since we'll already be in town.

Well the cool thing about all this, our biggest complaint about the 2004 season going into the All-Star Break is the All-Star Game..... I'll take it!
