  1. I like your posts so much more w/ that new avatar......
  2. Bobby Cox gave Shingo a little love after this weekend....
  3. Thomas is reported to get the go tonight.
  4. I've heard people mention them that they have both on them. I guess on one side it said "Sox Pride" and on the other it says "It's about us." This was in the Sun Times article that I posted above:
  5. Frank Thomas is the reason I found this team. I think I used to like him more than the team. Over the years, my favoritism has gone well over to the White Sox side. Thomas is and will always be my favorite player, but I just love everything about this team. No matter how good this team, it'll never get the attention and praise it deserves. I kind of like that "chip on the shoulder" and "underdog" trait about this team. White Sox!!!

  7. I'm definitely going to add that one to my collection when I go to Chicago next month!
  8. Intereresting. Zambrano is the one that scares me the most out of those 3 right now too. Prior's probably the best pitcher in the bigs, but he's definitely not going to be back at full potential for that series. We should have no problem hitting Maddux; he has not been that impressive this year.
  9. Right now the 2004 offense seems like it's going to put up better numbers, but you're right about that Nuke. I can remember so many 2-out rallies that year; that club was really fun to watch.
  10. Damn.....Talk about being prepared.
  11. I'm jealous of some of the artistic skills of people on this site, but I just had to say I'm diggin' the new banner w/ Scho and Caballo!
  12. He went to the Mets in the Robbie Alomar deal last year.
  13. There would most likely not be a Charlotte Bobcats or New Orlean Hornets if that trade didn't go down. However, Kobe isn't and will never be better than Michael Jordan.
  14. That's what I took it as in my post above.
  15. I've voted 50 times now. I voted 25 the day it came out for the Sox, and I just voted another 25 today.
  16. It's crazy how they pass in three's. (Reagan, Charles, Wiley) I've watched The Sports Reporters and Sportscenter many times with him on. No question it's scary how he died. He was awfully young to pass. RIP.
  17. I've only seen Roger Clemens and Nolan Ryan; I'm actually lucky enough to say I saw Nolan Ryan pitch in '93. I was 7 at the time, but it's still pretty awesome. However, I have to go with Clemens. Clemens came into the league and helped the Red Sox go to the WS, and he has just been dominant in MLB for about as long as I have been alive. He's also had to pitch in an era of baseball where the umps' zones have gotten smaller and the batters have gotten bigger. Clemens is the greatest pitcher of all time.
