  1. I love the headline on ESPN's front page.... "Prior stellar in return; Cubs lose"
  2. He didn't start hitting until he stopped swinging for the HR. The HRs will come, but I like seeing that we're able to score w/out living off the HR.
  3. Uribe with the ground rule double, to get the Sox's first hit of the game. Thomas goes YAHTZEE in the next AB! 2-1 Sox!!!!
  4. Wow....I come back to this? 1-0 M's going to the 4th....
  5. You have to be able to maintain 44 posts a day somehow....
  6. Just curious...Where is Josh Smith, former IU recruit, predicted to be going right now?
  7. Ha I'm not concerned about seeing it right this second. I just thought since you had so many genres, there should be a sport one. Very cool lists though; I'm too lazy to consider writing that many titles.
  8. Niceness....What about a top 10 in sports?
  9. Does this remind you of anything? Prior's on the mound. Two outs; SS bobbles the ball.....All hell breaks loose
  10. The Cubs are 1-7 after an offday. Steve Stone comments saying, "It'll most likely go over to 2-7 after today." 0-0 through 5 2/3
  11. He just wants to make sure he gets that 200 Ks for the season....
  12. Hmm...it's the Cubs we're talking about. Who knows!?
  13. JReed's rule: Here's the rule for all everyone on this site out there: Don't post anything (perfect game or no-hitter) till they finish the 6th inning. That's when you get serious. It worked with me starting a thread for Randy Johnson, and maybe it will work the next time. There's always exceptions....Prior's PERFECT through 3 against Pittsburgh!
  14. The quicker we can get him on there, the quicker we can get him to recover. We'll really need Mags back for the stretch run.
  15. I'm only getting a red X......
  16. I feel bad for the guy, and it's good to hear the surgery went well. I wish him all the best, and hopefully we're able to see him pitch in a Sox uni once again.
  17. Man, last year's ACC/Big Ten was brutal. We had to go into Wake right after Leach got injured; we had no height to contend with. I think this is the year we finally win the challenge. I believe IU also gets a game at home this year during the challenge.
