Wow Minnesota is loafing right now. I don't expect this to last though; we just need to maintain our play.

I'm down. We need someone like Garcia, and if we only have to give up Rauch and Rowand in the process, I'm all for it.

About time Uribe's got some of that deserved love from the press.

I feel we got that and then some in the surprising trade for Uribe.

Exactly; it's only June. I don't think I'll be able to relax about Minnesota until they're dethroned. We thought we had them after going 2 games up in that 4 game series last September. That didn't turn out so hot.

Ha I saw that last night. I expected people to say that wasn't high enough. It'll be interesting to see where we end up this week, since we're coming home with at least 2 losses.

Good deal for Franklin. He'll probably become the franchise leader in doubles before they come back to Chicago.

To add to what Tony said about signing Mags. This may help us keep him because he's obviously not going to have a career year by missing this many games. He might resign here ala Kevin Milwood because he's not going to get as much money as he is expecting, especially if he's injured.

The guy deserved it; there's no question Buerhle's become our ace again. To Buerhle!

I was pulling for the homestate Pacers. Unfortunately that didn't go as planned. I feel they can be back next year though. They were one of the youngest teams in the league, and they still won an NBA best 61 games. Though they just beat my team, I'll be pulling for the Pistons. I can't stand the Lakers, and I want that talk of the East being inferior to the West to end. Also the Pistons have a bit of locality about them; the franchise began in Fort Wayne.

But don't forget guys...Just as it did last year, "This time it counts."
