The best was last year when we were in Toronto and it started raining.
"It's pouring, and they forgot to close the roof. A rain delay in a dome. What a bunch of doe doe's!"
I think not. I can't stand how it's just shrugged or laughed off by the national media when this happens to the Cubs. I really hate the double standard in the media when it comes to the Chicago baseball teams.
Alright maybe that's stretching it, but Willie and Juan can really do big things with a manager like this. They really get to use their best talent to their advantage under this new style of ball: speed.
Exactly. I know he takes all kinds of heat etc., but when I started to learn about the Chisox and become a fan, Thomas was the one to pull me over. Thomas will always be my favorite player to wear a White Sox uni.
I like the team we have here now much more than last year's. Those three have unlimited potential, and they should be able to stay here for several years, as that was not possible with the old three.
I totally agree, and it's nice to have someone on the board part of the media that can help us see that point of view. I kind of figured that it could have been quoted in that manner. I appreciate you pointing that out Greg because I unfortunately feel this won't be the last we hear of this.
Sweet. Yes, that is a lot of money to put into one player on a team that doesn't spend money, but if anyone on the team is worth it right now, Mags is.
Exactly. I loved seeing today's lineup though, with Willie and Uribe getting the starting nod. I know this can't be an everyday occurence, but it's a nice option to have.
Jreed's right on this subject right now. That all was said last year. Frank seems to be the Frank of old in 2004. Do we already forget how well things went over with Frank and the rest of the gang in ST? I really don't see anything in these first two weeks to say that everything from ST hasn't carried over.
Sweet f***in' sig man!
And I can't agree more, this offense is really more dangerous than last years. We're moving runners over, stealing, and we still have the power to fall back on. The pitching's going to get there, and I just see big things for this year.
