QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Nov 9, 2006 -> 11:57 PM) I guess this is a good place to add these. The newest addition to our family: Shes about 11 weeks old now but these were taken when she was about 6 weeks. Our other cat who is about 2 years old likes her because now she has a playmate. Our third cat is about 11 or 12 and out of the "playing stage". She gets a little testy when the younger ones try to play with her. Nice pics! Two summers ago my cat had kittens in my closet, and those pics reminded me of those great times having 5 kittens living in my room.

I think those are quite ugly.

QUOTE(Soxy @ Nov 8, 2006 -> 08:49 PM) So anyway, there was this guy in one of my classes in college. He had an accent and we all thought he was Australian. So, one day we asked him where in Australia he was from. Turns out, he was actually from WI and just had a speech impedement. Oooops. On a somewhat similar note, today this extremely stupid pregnant girl (she's 17) was loudly making fun of an old man who had a heart attack and died while voting yesterday. It turns out that the man who died was the grandfather of one of our classmates. She sat about three feet from the stupid pregnant girl. Talk about awkward..

The Tigers choked with untimely errors against us all season long. I am not suprised at all seeing them doing it again on the biggest stage in baseball. They are chokers and cheaters.

I got mine on Monday as well. Still haven't watcheed any of them because of a lack of time. I really like the stats and info on all of the covers and inside covers of the dvds.

QUOTE(Craig Grebeck @ Oct 23, 2006 -> 01:54 PM) Baseball is not a team game. Tell that to the 2005 White Sox.

The Tigers are stealing our song from last year! Stop playing Journey, it is ours you hand-covered-in-poop losers!

QUOTE(sayitaintso @ Oct 22, 2006 -> 09:18 PM) He wasn't put on the 40 man roster and if you are not on it and you play a certain amount of years for that team you can be selected in the Rule V draft. It's after five years that you are eligible for the Rule Five, hence the name. He was signed as a 16 year old in December of 2001, so that is why he's gone. Not putting him on the 40 man might come back to bite us in the ass..

Wow I can't believe that was a Game 7. The fans were not into it at all; it seemed like a funeral for the National League more than a celebration. It reminded me of the South Park episode where both teams wanted to lose because they didn't want to play baseball anymore. I hope the Tigers lose it like they did against the Royals. Go Cards!

Before I flew for the first time (in 7th grade) I about puked when I got on the plane because I was so nervous and scared. Now I enjoy flying, especially the takeoff and landing, as other people have mentioned. The only time I've been scared on take-off was when we left Tuscon, we flew right into the mountain range and it appeared for a long time like we weren't going any higher, but it was an optical illusion because the mountains were so high.

QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Oct 17, 2006 -> 11:53 PM) We were down on the floor, basically right in the middle of 4,000 people. We went with a big group, and the only thing that really saved me was a few of the girls we were with bought 6 dollar waters. Robert Randolph/O.A.R were great, but it was brutal. Ah I see. That makes me feel better about going up to the balcony and relaxing in a chair.

QUOTE(redandwhite @ Oct 17, 2006 -> 11:40 PM) Never been there, but how were The Fray live? They were pretty amazing. We got there when the gates opened and passed up spots on the floor about 10 feet from the stage to have first row balcony seats...and sure enough the spot we passed up ended up being where Isaac Slade dove into the crowd to go surfing. Tony, was it too hot there in July? It seems odd for an indoor venue to be too hot, but then again it is upstairs and very old.

I went to The Fray concert tonight at the Argon ballroom...that place is a great venue for a concert.

QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 11, 2006 -> 10:27 PM) Come on THOMAS!!!! Before the game, I got a phonecall from my Uncle who is a Tigers season ticket holder. He was bragging about the Tigers and I guarenteed him that Frank Thomas would hit a walk-off home run off of Todd Jones, and I almost looked like a genius. Half an inch away from making the most amazing guarentee in the history of sports.

MLB.com has a new, enhanced gameday. It's cool, you should check it out. They now have pitch speed and a 3-D batter.

Thank you!! I have been planning on buying this since it came out, but did not want to spend more than $40. You saved me almost $15!

QUOTE(redandwhite @ Oct 9, 2006 -> 10:10 PM) This seems to be the White Sox Catch All-Thread at the moment, so I'll post this here. The White Sox went from 9th to 3rd in Runs and 1st to 10th in ERA from 2005 to 2006. It's clear that the pitching was a major problem, so I am in no way placing much blame on the offensive side of things, however... When you have a line-up with Konerko, Thome, and Dye would you rather surround them with players who get on base or guys who play all or nothing style baseball as the White Sox had. I ask this because everybody seems so high on Crede here, but if the White Sox 7-8-9 hadn't gotten on base at such a low clip (.323, .290, .257 respectively) I happen to believe that this team would have been a better all around baseball team. Rally Crede, his great defense, I'm trying not to be close minded here, I just happen to think in a line-up full of big boppers, you need the table setters to, and the demise of the 2006 White Sox could be somewhat credited to the lack of the Bill Mueller's for the Red Sox in '04, the Castillo's and Lowell's of the '03 Marlins, the David Eckstein's and Scott Spiezio's of the '02 Angels and so on.. Thoughts. Although you examples are valid, the 2005 White Sox would have never been if it was not for Joe Crede. The tablesetter that we were missing this year was Podsednik, not Crede. He had a decent first half and the offense behind him was able to make up for his not being great, but he had a horrid second half and the team was almost as bad as Pods in the second half. If you want to blame anybody on the offensive side, make it Pods and maybe even Iguchi, but Iguchi's downfall was having nobody on base to move over thanks to Podsednik.

That 10 year old girl has an average of -16...that is disgusting.
