As i opened up my school newspaper this morning i found out that the cubs had held and autograph session and some sort of dinner at our student center. Not only that, but they brought Mark Prior, Dusty Baker, and other cub legends.
Why is it that the white sox don't venture outside of chicago to promote their team. When i am not at college, I live in the suburbs and i can never recall any sort of promotions around where i lived.
If our Sox want more fans they have to create them. This is not field of dreams, if you build a new stadium or make improvements to one people are not garunteed to come. Why can't the sox become a more fan friendly team like the bulls. All the sox have to do is take a look to their neighbors on the north side.
