QUOTE(whitesox91403 @ Apr 26, 2005 -> 09:42 PM) Thank-you. Passed balls and missed throws havemade Cora look a lot better than he is. Aaron strikes out. Must be Cora and Ozzie's fault. 104 years of suffering have turned us all into freakin morons. Our team is 16-4 and we are the biggest bunch of whiney b****es in the world. -

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 26, 2005 -> 09:36 PM) No offense, but that's the lamest f***ing comeback in these types of arguments. I guarantee you that there'are a TON of people that could do a better job than a lot of the managers in MLB. If you honestly think that letting Buehrle start that inning against two righties was a smart decision, then I don't know what to say. I believe the answer to Ozzie's decision is related to Hermanson's apparent unavailability. Ozzie must have been hoping to use Vizcaino in Hermanson's role in the 8th inning. -

QUOTE(whitesox91403 @ Apr 26, 2005 -> 09:26 PM) He has gotten lucky with some them. Ozzie is terrible, I have said that for 2 years now. I'm sorry but given the way we are playing as a team I find that opinion moronic. You have a right to that opinion but I also have a right to think your opinion is stupid. We've gone from a station to station team with bad pitching and poor defense to the complete opposite and so far so good. And, clearly Ozzie was the guy pushing for the change. And, every game there is situation after situation like runners moving with the count full and one out, hit and run plays, and various things. It's a damn long season and we will lose at least 60 times. -

Eventually, one of our pitchers is going to peg an A's batter. Maybe with two outs in the 9th tonight?!?!? -

Rooney and Farmer just said Hermanson has a pulled muscle in his back, which would explain his absence over the last 3-4 days. -

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 26, 2005 -> 09:08 PM) Who's our starting SS if Uribe goes on the DL? Ozuna? I don't think we have anyone in the minors who's ready to contribute. Ozuna. We are pretty thin at SS. -

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 26, 2005 -> 08:59 PM) Very nice play by Podsednik. Now, I GUARANTEE you that Carlos Lee wouldn't have caught that. That's funny I was thinking the same thing. -

That was an impressive display though completely erasing the four-run inning by the A's in their previous bat. I assume its almost bullpen time. -

Coming back here and immediately retaking the lead shows the immense confidence this team is playing with right now. It's just amazing. I haven't seen anything like it since the second half of the '83 season. -
