Im just saying with all of "Kennys boys" he probably does have a lot of influence. But Im not changing my stance that our poor play is JMs fault... The hitters are the ones swinging the bats and the pitchers are the ones throwing the ball. How a guy in the dugout can be blamed when they do it poorly is beyond me. He knows who struggling and whos not. Then when he decides to put one of the strugglers in, its his fault... With hitters, you're right -- he should give PK a day or 2 off to let him clear his mind. Put Frank at first and give someone like Graffy a day at DH. With pitchers, though, you can't let them work out of struggling while sitting down in the pen. They need to get out there and have a good outing and work their way out of it. He needs to get Aaron out of there for a little bit. Aaron is only going to press himself more and more each and everyday and thats no way to get yourself into a slump, its only a way to dig yourself into a bigger and bigger hole.

Inning is finally over. If the Sox are going to do something they better do it pretty much immediately. If they fart around they will be in deep trouble.

I've been hoping for this for a long long time. Bears have so many stinking needs. Woolfolk or Woolford is a guy I'd love to get with the 22 or in the second round. Very atheletic corner from Oklohoma. Marcus Trufant would be a sweet pickup too if he slid to 13 and Bailey was gone.

Critic hit it. Manuel isn't the manager for a young team. He's the kind of manager for a team full of veterans that doesn't need motivation and doesn't ocassionally need a role model to look at (In a sense). With Jerry he's not too emotional or anything along those lines, but he's very tame and not to motivating or demanding. He kind of expects things to get done. That works for a veteran team (Its Torre type style) but for a young team, they sometimes need a little kick in the ass and thats what Jerry can't do. Backman would be a great pickup as would Valentine.

Bailey is super fast. The question is will he get past the Rams at 12.

Jose needs a case of shut the heck up. When is he going to learn, clubhouse matters STAY in the clubhouse. I don't care if what he says is good or not, tell it to your teammates not the freaking media. I've never been a Jose fan, but I've tried and tried to come around to the guy. This year he's been alright offensively, horrible defensively. If opponents ever listened to me and threw Jose all curves all the time, he'd hit .100 with a ton of strikeouts. I like Jose and trying to lead, but when is he going to shut up.

According to the Jimmy Johnson draft scale chart, we have won this deal. We got 2 first rounders and most likely a 3rd for a pick that had a ton of questionmarks. The Bears have so many needs and this is a draft, where in the first three rounds there are a ton of good players and thats what makes a team good, having a lot of good players. Bears lack that right now and this draft will be an awesome way of building things. Guys like Mcgahee will be down there, Boller or Lefty could be there at 22 (Thats right 22). If Jacksonville doesn't pick a qb and Carolina doesn't (All signs say they won't) then Boller and Lefty fall all the way to the Bears 2nd 1st rounder. Bears will draft defense with 2 of the picks and maybe qb. They will draft one qb within the 1st three rounds. If its in the 3rd round it would be Ragone. Also, some talks have came up that Suggs is really going to fall, not likely all the way to 13, but its a possibility. Either way, Boss Bailey would be a sweet pick at 13 if he's there, so would Jordan Gross or Jimmy Kennedy or Mike Williams from OSU.

Thats better. Why pay huge money to a huge questionmark. This frees up more caproom and won't tie the team down. The Bears spend the money, heck, I'd say all NFL franchises spend the money.

but as baggs mention and that is what i was going at. the players picked later may not be the impact that the #4 pick would. the big d-tackle stud would be the impact player that i was thinking about. The Bears need a lot of good players, not one great player. Also, I don't think there are any impact picks there at the Bears slot other then potentially Newman. Lefty could be, but too much risk in Suggs and others. Robertson and Newman were the ones I liked. Bears have way too many needs and this is an awesome deal. Its also reported that we get a conditional 3rd rounder if things work out (In this years draft).

I've always been of the belief that MLB should forget about it. That way they could have teams that go under simply file bankrupcy instead of have to deal with all the stuff they would now. It would be much easier if a team wasn't sucessful and lost a ton of money and the owner couldn't pay the bills, for them to simply file for bankrupcy and close the doors without players permission and my understanding is they could do this.

I've been working tonight and have fixed one of the problems. From now on when you hit quote it will only quote the last post. I'm gonna test it out right now to make sure I did it right.

This is the type of series that could really fire the Sox up. We need to get some life into us and use it to carry over to the West Coast teams we play.

Now that pisses me off. The pen was pretty well rested, especially considering we picked up another reliever. You don't pitch a guy if he's sick and says he can't pitch. I really hope we make a move for a new manager. Backman has to be it cause he's famliar with most of the players.

Overall calls even themselves out over a full season. Nothing you can do other then b**** when it happens and move on. It should of been Manuel that got ejected. A young player shouldn't be making a name for hismelf by getting ejected. He should of made some comments and I do think he talked to the ump with Manuel and pointed, he just didn't make a scene.
