Well, its the New Year and its time for a new and improved look at Soxnet.net. The site should be easier to read and has been built to hold more features, which will be released as we get closer to the season. Their is a new transactions section as well and an updated roster page. One of my favorite features on the new page is Records/Facts page which is currently up. Another awesome addition is the Yearly Stats page, which will be up later on in the week. Those two pages will fill Sox minds with knowledge about the history of the Pale Hose. Also new for the New Year is the about us page, which tells a short story of Soxnet and includes staff bios. Other improvements are an all around better look, imo, and new archive pages for stories. This is a site built for news and it now should be even easier to find all the recent reports and stories of your favorite team. Some features that will be coming soon are the Minor League Reports. We'll have our first one up again on Friday. Were also going to be releasing an improved archive for them so you can check up on previous reports. Once the season starts, minor league news will be pooring in, typically daily. As always Soxnet will provide everyone with quick SN Reports (Rumors, Trades, Stories, etc) as well as original commentaries and articles. The daily game recaps will be there as well for those who missed the game or parts of it. Advance scouting reports of all the players on the 25 roster will be added to the roster page along the way as well. Hope you all enjoy and if you have any suggestions, don't hesitate to ask us. Are they? I thought that the new labor agreement nixed that. I'm probably mistaken, but I heard that they were at least throwing that idea around, and the owners got pretty much everything they wanted on this deal. :fyou It was supposed to, and everyone thought it did, but it never ended up being that way.

I got to say, the Bucs play excellent. Gary may be laughing his ass off next week if the Bucs to do the Eagles and Mcnabb what they did to Garcia and the Niners. Their offense was looking real good too. Of course its a whole new level when you do it against a real good defense like the Eagles in the real cold. Of course, the Bucs should be a good cold weather team. They are phyiscal, have a good defense and have strong running backs. Pittman is super buff and Alstott is super huge. You hit either of them and your hurting. Then you got John Lynch dropping his bomb hits on defense.

Everything will work out and be awesome. The fans will get to hear Chisport sports talk, radio by the fans for the fans and then they'll get to hear the fellas of Sox and Roll, giving their play by play.

Fight back or something, just dont whine about it. But even without this, Finley is old, Finley is crap, and Finley sacrifices us a draft pick. Even tho thats probably the first guy KW will go after, I wont be pleased... Roman, for the record, if Finley did any of those things you mentioned, including fighting back. the it would have been his ass in jail. Hell, he did the smart thing. I got a ton of respect for Finley. We all know as a major league athlete he could of probably got away with being an idiot and beating her, instead he did the smart thing. He may not come off like some tough guy, but he comes off as making a great decision in my mind. Their is no excuse for beating your wife or girlfriend.

are they? Not challenging your statement, and hope it is true, I know that it was an issue and I never did really hear what was decided on that in the new contract. They were supposed to be gone, but they could never resolve that issue like they hoped to. They are planning on fixing it in the coming year.

Well I still compare Mario Valenzula to Magglio Ordonez but from the left side of the plate. The guy hit the cover off the ball and then never played in AAA, but he's still on the AAA roster for this year. I think the guy would be pretty good at the major league level, but thats just me.

Well, thats how I look at the Bears seasons as well as the Bulls season. Its just I see so much talent and potential here that I can't look the other way and think we aren't going to do something, even though its so true.

Awesome Post Nuke. You bring up some great points, and well I am going to hope your right on the money with this statement. One thing that I do know is KW typically does all he can to keep his moves quiet.

All I know is that the owners and MLB are telling Minaya its now or never and he doesn't have much time. He basically has a couple days and after that he's forced to move him. They need to dump payroll and thats it.

Thats the only reason Sox fans even consider him a possibility. Its just this year we already heard about all the other pitchers that were possibilites, many of which never came to the Sox. Of course I'm still optimistic.

He'll win at least one batting title in his major league career, mark my words on that. He'll also win at least one MVP award.
