  1. Who knows, if Schu becomes the gm, I'd be skeptical, I don't want him hosing us, but if we could get a good deal I'd do it. I also read something, probably not true, but that we would deal Willie Harris and a lower level prospect for Ryan Dempster. This was from a Reds board and I don't buy into it.
  2. I know one thing, the Dodger fans don't seem too excited by this move, but hey, they do save a bit of money, and if they get someone like Floyd to play first then its not terrible, but if they sit out their and don't get anyone they will be in sorry shape. Especially since they are losing Omaar Daal.
  3. Cool, so I can at least listen to ESPN Radio 1000 on ocassions.
  4. Great to hear from ya Judy. I'm so excited about having Koch here. I only heard great things about Foulke as a person and so far I've only heard the same about Koch. Man, I'm excited for the start of the season.
  5. That looks so cool. I'm expecting a good update on this from you Mario.
  6. Reports are they are interested in bringing in Cliff Floyd(As Brian Jordan's replacement, unless Jordan stays, I guess they'd move Floyd to first then?) Or they are thinking about bringing in Jeff Kent. Another name that I thought of was Ray Durham, but so far I haven't heard anyone hint his name.
  7. He had a bit of a control problem judging by the walks, but tomorrow we'll have a longer scouting report up on him. He's a solid prospect though, nothing special as of yet.

  9. I'm going to take a good look at their minor leagues and see if theirs anyone out their that really makes sense that would fill a glaring hole either at the majors or the minor league level.

    HEY HSC

Remember, Today, he didn't make himself an ass, or at least not in my opinion.
  11. Well if they don't get Thomas, then I don't see anything great happening. They got a crappy offense, especially since they lost Karros.
  12. Here's one big thing for everyone to think of. Billy Koch closed in the toughest division in baseball. He went up against other top teams like the Angels and Mariners and even a good offensive, although crappy Ranger team. Foulke, he pitched most of his games against the pathetic teams in the AL Central, most of which aren't known for having a good offense and that really includes the Twins too. Just throwing it out their for ya.
  13. Who knows, we only have to wait till Saturday to find out. Heck, we may know sooner than then too. Plus, theirs nothing that says we can't trade him after he comes back anyway. Frank would have to approve it though.
  14. Lol, I do think he'll do a lot better in LA. Lets face it, he hated playing day games and he hated hearing crap for the fans. It wasn't like the guy wasn't trying, you could tell he wa trying by all the wind he was sending up to the stands. He wasn't sitting their looking at all those strikeouts. :metal
  15. If you ask me thats the A's responsibility. The Sox were being careful and shut him down as he was getting hammered. It could of simply been his arm was tired(He threw a lot of innings), maybe he complained of mild pain. I know KW would of at least told them that, if it was the case. Other then that its fair game, if he ends up getting hurt afterwards, than it happens.
  16. Fox has told the Dodgers not to add salary. Also, Brian Jordan wants out and he's requested to be dealt, which is a right he has. Plus, its not like they really freed a ton of money up. They got a good amount in return, just like the Cubs did.
  17. It could simply be that Evans is an idiot.
  18. Sweet...that will be super cool By the way Mike it was an awesome show. I caught the first hour then went out to dinner with the family.
  19. Many suspected he may be injured, but the A's approved the deal so thats up to them. I think this is a deal that helps both teams. I still think its a much riskier deal for the A's, especially if Foulke walks and they don't get draft pick compensation for him(That rule could change by next offseason and most feel it will change by then) Plus, from what I'm hearing were getting one real good prospect, and one decent one, who was a high pick(Thats Cott). I'm not sure who the other one is, but KW is saying he's a stud. No, I don't believe everything he says, but he's making some real big time statements with this prospects saying how great they are, and well, he may say guys he gets are good in trades, he rarely says they are greats, except Jimenez who was a great prospect. I like the move. Im writing a commentary write now that will be on the main page, probably in the morning.
  20. I was talking to my dad and this move makes no sense(The Dodger Trade not the Sox trade) The only free agent out their is Thomas and we know Evans has some relations to him, so we'll see. I dont' think they get him, but its definately a possibility.
  21. I don't think Dyce meant anything like this. John seems like a good poster and a smart Sox fan.
  22. Well it looks like he started listening.
