  1. When you make a post on a multi paged thread you will now be taken to the most recent page instead of the very first page.
  2. The thing with him is he doesn't have great stuff, but hey he did pitch damn good last year.
  3. It looks like the Hawks are going to get a huge offensive boost when Theo Fleury comes back. The trib says his return is imminent. Hopefully he's learned to get over his problem and will continue going to rehab so his problem don't come back.
  4. To talk to him. So I'm assuming that he's a possibility when it comes to that second tier. Sorry, but I'm not an Omar Daal fan, I'd rather sign a centerfielder/leftfielder and someone like Jeff D'Amico.
  5. May I also say that Damn, Eddie Robinson is a player. That guy is so damn good, imo. He's got great hops, can create his own shot, and seems to be pretty solid defensively, well he's making some big time improvements their. I wouldn't mind starting him at the two. Still, I think if they moved Rose for an all star small forward or guard then either Erob would start at sf or sg or Crawford could. Then throw Fizer in the deal if the Bulls want to dump him so bad.
  6. Would the Warriors want a vet like Jalen Rose? I'm thinking Jalen Rose and Jamaal Crawford(Although I really would like keeping him), and Marcus Fizer for Antwan Jamison, Foyle, and Dunleavy Jr. Just thinking it could make some sense. I really like Jamaal Crawford though and would rather deal Rose in all honesty, I just think he looks like a ball hog out their right now and man is he soft defensively. The Bulls need some defense and Rose just gets abused.
  7. What are the Reds planning on doing with Ryan Dempster? Are they keeping him or do they plan on unloading him?
  8. This should be a good game. I like the Warriors as a young team. I remember mentioning how Gilbert Arenas was good and he's making this a statement game against Jwill. Come on Bulls, get this win!!!!!

    a problem

Maybe it has to do with me adding this latest things. Hopefully it is cleared up when you hit refresh. Neither I or Ian have ran into any trouble.
  10. Theirs an example of the new quote feature. Hope you all enjoy it.
  11. I stopped by, but didn't see ya in their. I'm gonna start working on the new chatroom again and see if I can get it working this time.
  12. If you listed your bday in the profile then it will be shown in the calendar. Eventually members will also be able to add stuff. I still haven't figured it all out, but I'll also plan on having general mlb stuff up their too, like Winter Meetings as well as the end of free agency and such.
  13. Ya, the Sox are slowly going to rebuild their bullpen with young pitchers and I think its KW's goal to constantly move in new pitchers over the years. Kind of like bring a new rookie in each year and rebuild the bullpen and then when they are due for big pay days you ship them off and the other guys that have been their a while will be asked to step up. Still, we got a great pen or it looks like that to me. Marte, Osuna, Glover are great set up man and Foulke is a premier closer, imo. Then you have Biddle and a couple other guys their and you haven't even touched Valentine, Almonte, Ring, Sanders, Almonte, etc.
  14. Its amazing how when we think the Sox can pick up a player cheap and its a pitcher we just know KW will at least make a push at him. Man, its too bad we couldn't think that when front line players were available.
  15. Why not take a shot on him if he comes cheaply. Abbott isn't great, but he did have a damn good year two years ago and is still a solid option. Plus, its always nice to have some arms cause everyone is always looking for pitchers and plenty of times you can throw in guys like these to get a deal done, especially if the salary is cheap.
  16. They probably will stink cause they were based on the spread, but some points are better then nothing. Packers Saints Bengals Colts Chiefs Jaguars Redskins Eagles Steelers Niners Panthers Broncos Jets Ravens Raiders Rams
  17. NOt really, mainly because their big men should take full advantage of the two highschoolers the Bulls start. I just like to see them move the ball well and at times yesterday they did and at other times the Triangle looks so pathetic.
  18. I'd swing the deal, but I hate thinking of so many mock trades cause I know its not likely because they Sox don't seem like a team that likes to do a whole lot of trading or at least don't like trading a couple guys just to fill those same positions back up. We have so many relievers in the minors that I'd be willing to pretty much give any one of them up.
  19. I'm working on a new quote feature and it should be up sometime today. I ran into some trouble with it otherwise it would already be done. Just continue to post with the quote, cause the quoting function wil be restored and all the posts quotes will come up and look normal again instead of showing some broken code. Sorry about the problem. Once its fixed everyone should like the new quote function a whole lot more.
  20. New Quotes are being introduced so it is much easier to seperate the quotes from the main post. They should be done later today. I just had them done or so I thought I did and I ran into an error and some of you may of noticed it by seeing a bunch of errors when they loaded the page. Sorry bout that.
  21. Also, don't forget the power Legalism had on Chinese Society. It started during the Ch'in dynasty and pretty much brought an end to most crime. I'm just jumping on near the end of this subject. I, like SI, have tried to keep my nose out of this one. Legalism consists of not only executing the people, but publicly doing it and making them suffer as much as they can. China executes more people in one day then the entire US does in a full year and possibly even the entire world(not sure on this one).
  22. Yep, he went elsewhere as a minor league free agent. He'll probably never amount to anything, but I always say, theirs no harm in trying, when it don't cost anything. D'Amico would be a real solid pickup because I think he has the stuff to be a real solid pitcher and has proved it when healthy. Of course he does have arm troubles and last year was his first year back from it, so he put up very good numbers considering a return from injury. I'd look for him to have an era somewhere between 4 and 4.50 and win a solid amount of games.
  23. Awesome post. One thing I respect about KW is that when he sees a need for the team he goes out and gets it done. So far he's failed in who he's brought in here, but he's also made some good moves. Not only did the Sox get Marte, but they got the super speedy Edwin Yan who I truly compare to Castillo of the Marlins. Kw's not a great gm, he's simply average right now, and I do think he could turn into a very good gm, if he can learn how to build a major league team and that comes with experience. This is his 3rd year and nows the time for him to show he can do it.
  24. I remember he was missing for a short time or something.
  25. I actually think you could use John Adkins as bait for the Rockies. The Rockies new philosphy is pickup power pitchers and Adkins fits that ball. Give them Adkins and Ginter and see what that gets ya, I bet it could get you Kapler, Durazo or Cust.
