  1. I don't understand at all why that would be considered so terrible. My only guess is someone thought it was racially motivated, I think we all know that isn't the case.
  2. I love it corg, lol :metal
  3. Its gonna be an ugly MNF game. Yep...even uglier then the one played against the Packers earlier this season. SI, since you've seen Bulger more then I have. What can you tell me about his arm strength? Does he have a gun? If he has an arm, then I say offer the Rams a 2nd round pick for him and Candidate or something like that. Or swap first rounders.
  4. Michelle, the Sox can't be afraid to make moves simply because past ones haven't panned out for whatever reasons. If we do that then the Sox will always live in mediocrity, something I am very sick of. I say make the deal, as long as we don't have to give up any of our core players and that we will still be able to have all the position players we need, etc.
  5. In eqivalent terms it would of been like the Sox trading Borchard, Rauch, and Harris or Jimenez or Hummell. Something along those lines, imo.
  6. They landed the best minor league shorstop in the entire minors as well as some premiere pitching prospects if I recall correctly. Brandon Phillips is a power hitting shortstop that is supposed to be the real deal with power to hit 30 plus homers. Ian, am I right on them acquiring some front line pitchers? I thought they landed at least one real good pitcher.
  7. Walton is bad, but no one is worse then Tim McCarver. He was terrible during the world series. So many useless facts or simply the wrong fact.
  8. Nardi Says: "Hey it builds stamina." Lol
  9. I'm with ya all on that, but I officially can't even go to the main page. I'm going to see if it works when I go to my moms cause i'll have a different ip their. I'm with ya on that SI, no matter if you like or dislike Corg, you have to respect him for the Sox fan he is. He's loyal and he knows the Sox and he seems like a great guy. Corg now knows just how big of a bastard KW really is. I'm sure he never really doubted it either.
  10. They never said he was hurt. They simply shut him down for precautionary reasons. I think they feel he pitched enough in his full season down in Birmingham(AA) and when they saw him struggle early they figured he was fatigued and didn't want to risk injury.
  11. I must of missed out when Roonie and Dj did the Oakland game. By the way, welcome aboard Cubsuck. All I know is all I want in our announcers are people are very knowledgeable, sound right, and are able and willing to speak their mind about the Sox. I don't need them to sugar coat whats going on, just tell us.
  12. All I know is Carson Palmer is a true pimp.
  13. Question, is Whitesox.com working right now? Or have I been banned? I know one thing, the main page won't even load for me, while all the other mlb sites will.

    my weekly what's up

Hey Cali You missed the most rain California has had in the past couple years or at least where I am. We got a whopping 3/4's of an inch or so. Its all windy here with Santa Ana's so enjoy the rest of your stay in Florida.
  15. I don't think he'll get drafted, I know that much.
  16. Foulk isn't supposed to play. I know one thing, I smell an ass whooping and it ain't going to be the Bears doing the kicking. On a side note, Bulger is officially starting for me on my fantasy team. He put up 42 points for me on the bench while Griese had 9.
  17. Peoria is 22-13 Tim Hummel has picked things up big time as he's gotten his average up to .254. He hasn't hit a homer and he's struck out 9 times in 73 at bats. Hummel had been hitting under .200 most of the way and it had the Sox questioning just how good of a future he may have. Jon Adkins is 1-2 with an era of 4.00 in 6 starts(7 games). The one daggering stat is that he's given up 36 hits in 27 innings of work. My theory is, his numbers are better then he's pitched. Gary Majewski is 3-0 with a 2.21 era in 12 games. Many people forgot we got him back in the JB deal, but he was nasty this season and is continuing his nastiness in the fall league. He's struck out 17 in 20 innings. Lefty Dave Sanders is 6-0 with a .95 era and all of a sudden the Sox may just consider him for a lefty slot in the bullpen. He's thrown 19 innings, giving up 16 hits, striking out 13. Lefthanded starter Josh Stewart has also had a great fall league. He's 1-0 with a .95 era in 8 games(7 starts). He's pitched 28.1 innings, striking out 22, while giving up just 23 hits. Valentine was shutdown for the rest of the fall league for precautionary measures. He was 0-0 with an era of 9.00 in 3 games. The Sox pitchers sure have some impressive stats considering how Arizona is considered a hitters area that typically inflates a hitters stats.

    Holy Hell

    Haaa Gary......:****
  19. I like Hawk a whole lot, but I don't really like DJ. He's a smart guy, but he seems like way too much of a kiss ass. I'm thinkin we already have one puppet in the booth in Hawk, so I'd like to see the Sox try to bring in an analyst who simply knew his stuff and wasn't afraid of what others would think or if he would offend management.
  20. I think I brought this up a couple months back when their was an article talking about Hawk and saying how young fans don't like hearing him and that the Sox could use a change in the booth. Well, I wanted to see what everyone else thought on this subject. Should Hawk step down or should the Sox keep DJ and Hawk?
  21. Lol, I'm going to have to add a feature where its really easy to attach all those photos and we can have a whole KW gallery. I know it would get a ton of use, lol.
  22. I definately think KW will watch this board, but I don't fear a think from the White Sox. We don't have their logo or any of their copyrighted stuff used anywhere on this page and are doing all we can to make sure it won't be seen at Soxnet. The only true logo's that will be seen are those that we have created or those where the Sox logo shows via a jersey. Stupid MLB and the Sox trying to close down places where the fans can voice their opinions so we can all become their puppets.
  23. Gary, don't even think of mentioning Jauron being back next year, cause I think we all know he will never fire his assistants and they are whats killing him. As far as Miller goes, at least you finally are seeing the light. Miller shouldn't be out their risking his career(He's a good guy and I'll always root for him) but he doesn't have near the arm strenght to do it and we aren't playing for anything. Lets see what this new guy Sauer can do or let Burris the joke play and get our #1 pick.
  24. I think the right people won in both leagues. I was thinkin Arod would win it, but Tejada was the one who deserved it and he got it.
