I like Fruit Punch, I'll have to try it one of these weeks. I just don't drink much Soda, I stick to juice.

Ya, its a little late and I've yet to really pay much attention to whose winning, but I went out this morning and voted for the first time ever. I tried to know a bit about the candidates, but their are so many things out their. Still the way I see it, you can't complain unless you vote, otherwise you didn't do you own job to use your say so you shouldn't have a say.

I'm glad to see Miami was dumped down to 3 in the BCS.

Ya you missed the Hawks trade and then 2 straight Bulls wins. Then they lost 2 in a row, but they looke damn good yesterday late in the game coming back to tie it, but lost in overtime. I'm hoping they can beat Boston in the United Center so they can get back above .500 A win their will be huge cause you never know what a 3 game losing streak could do.

Oh man, back for a day and he's already gotcha Michelle, lol.

Yep, and sadly, being one of his biggest backers means I have to credit his talent for the minors while recognizing that he hasn't exactly been a great or even good gm. Thats not to say it won't happen, but my stance on a lot of issues has slowly been turning as everyone here corrupts me with their years of suffering. :metal

The pitchers not named Jon Adkins are doing great, while Tim Hummell is absolutely stinking up the joint. I'll grab some stats for ya a little later this afternoon.

Lol, I remember when my buddy came up with this screen-name, he had me rolling.

Lol, I see Canada is in just as good of shape as the US when it comes to teaching.

I watched it from the middle of the third on. The Bulls couldn't buy a bucket late in the 3rd after getting plenty of great chances and then played awesome. It was tough seeing them lose in ot, especially because Hoiberg got fouled on that dunk in overtime. I did see some good defensive pressure on the ball and in a whole a better team. Still they should of beat Toronto, but the comeback was great. Big game on Wednesday against the Celts. I really want them to stay over. 500

I agree with you on a lot of this. Personally I think it would be best for the Sox to move KW back into the guy in charge of the minor league operations and our draft picks and something of an assistant gm. Then hire someone with more experience on building a major league club in. I also want them to be well respected so KW can learn that you need to treat players with dignity.

He's the Mets gm and personally I think that the Mo Vaughn trade was terrible as was the Jeremy Burnitz deal. Luckily for him Appier looks to be the best thing he gave up as Appier helped lead the Angels to the World Series. He also acquired Robby Alomar, but I can't put him at fault for that cause it was a great deal for the Mets. Ya, the Ritchie trade was terrible, but I don't think you can really judge a tenure on one player. I mean if KW wasn't their we wouldn't have guys like Joe Borchard to look forward to. I'm not saying he's great either.
-
Not sure whose going, but it would be real classy to have many of the guys from the 83 team their. Speaking of 83, they aught to fly me out their for free since it was the year I was born, lol. I doubt Fisk will make it since he isn't very pleased with the Sox organization(That goes for either Sox team he played for)
-
Phillips is far worse then KW.
-
I think thats because you don't see the back up running backs in their. I know for example in the Vikings game in week one, Chapman had a ton of rushing yards.
-
Wouldn't shock me, I know things are going nuts their. Attitudes or something, but everything is falling apart their cause they have one of the most talented teams in college football. I'd say its in the top 5 talent wise.

I'll say one thing about the educational system in this country and that is it stinks. Of course its better then almost any other countries out their, but that doesn't mean we should be happy with it, and in general I don't think many are other then the teachers unions. One of the biggest flaws with the educational system is that it is almost impossible for a teacher to get fired after they have worked for about 5 years(At least thats how it is where I am). The only way to get fired is by sexually assaulting a student or something. Anyway, if good teachers could get paid more and the poor ones could get fired, then the teaching system would be a whole lot better because smarter people would go into it. I'm not implying all teachers are stupid, but I know most of mine were. As far as History goes SI, I've always noticed my best teachers are history teachers or econ teachers. I also think that highschools should teach classes that have to deal with investing for the future, how to buy houses and just teach you some common sense things like accounting(Balancing Checkbooks, not the difficult stuff that I'm studying to become a CPA). I mean we all know college isn't for everyone, so things like this that people need to know for everyday life should be taught. Part of me is also for decreasing the age that children can drop out, cause lets be honest, if they don't want to be their, then they hinder learning. Of course another part of me says everyone should get a highschool education.

You can count on one thing with KW and thats that he is always trying to go out and bring in the key player. He's failed, but he's always out their trying. He landed Erstad for a couple minutes, tried to get Giles, got Boomer, got Ritchie.
-
Well two season ago I didn't see KW really much involved other then the Clayton acquisition and the Wells acquisition. JM called the shots and did a lousy job. Last year Jm called the shots again, until the trade deadline where KW finally took over and said play the youngsters and that was that. I don't see what is wrong with that. If the vets weren't going to be their then its key to see what the future can do and if they are ready.
-
Ya, I just read that in the paper today. MSU is in dissaray. I remember they were once ranked pretty highly.
-
Vince Carter isn't playing nor is Antonio Davis or Dale Davis, whichever Davis they have. It is in Toronto and if the Bulls are going ot be a "playoff team" then they have to beat teams when they aren't 100% as well as take out the bad teams and of course to become great you also have to beat the better teams in the league. Of course in the east you don't need to, to make the playoffs. Bulls have already beaten a couple of decent teams though.
-
I noticed it against the Giants too. The key is he gets it done enough to win, but everyone raves about each game and I think it gets a little sorry when they keep saying how great of a game he had when in fact he played lousy. Just like last year the Bears recieved too much hype, imo. Of course you couldn't of told that to me then,
-
They will meet in Tuscon and KW and all the other gm's should be their. The main topic at these meetings is trades as you can't negotiate with free agents yet. Some teams may also talk to their free agents trying to sign them up, or at least I think it works that way. Anyway, I'd look for the Sox to probably be quiet, but if they are going to land a starter, it could be quickly cause they've had a lot of negative press and making a move now could be a great way to get some positive spin on the Sox. Of course, I'd hate to see them force out a move, like KW did last year after he couldn't land Giles or Erstad so he traded the house for Ritchie. Take your time Williams, remember, their are a ton of quality starters out their and available in free agency so you need to use that as leverage, yes their is a thing called leverage that helps you get a better deal in a trade.
-
Rogers is way better than Williams, who may not even be the best reciever on UT. Potential wise, ya Rogers is fantastic. I just don't like the fact he hasn't shown up lately, but I don't really pay attention to MSU football.
-
He just hates the Eagles. Anyway, the thing that pissed me off is everyone said Mcnabb had a great game and that was way off. He had a ton of drops but I saw him throw the ball high and miss his recievers plenty of times as well. Donovan is an awesome qb though. Personally I'd take Vick over him, but thats probably a very debateable topic.
