Miller was lousy. He was completely innacurate the entire second half. The Bears shouldn't draft Rogers cause a, we don't need a reciever as much as we need a qb or cornerback and b) he isn't even the best reciever out their. I'd take Roy Williams over him possibly, mainly because Rogers has really struggled since the early part of the season. The guy is good, but we don't need a reciever.

It won't happen though. Although it is good thinking, but I don't think Griffey wants to come to the southside and I know cheap old JR isn't going to bring him here. I like how it makes us strong in center, but it also makes us week in the infield cause we really don't know if Harris and Jimenez can cut it. I think Jimenez can but I have yet to see enough out of Harris to show me he's ready for the show.

Back onto the subject, thats a sweet jet. I wonder if Sadaam is going to try biddin on that.

Kurt was the greatest rock writer of the 90's Of course he fullfilled his dream he told everyone in highschool or middle school when he said he'd kill himself when he made it big. I doubt that was the real reason he did it though.

Boy oh Boy has Thibault really sucked it up the last couple games. Of course I didn't see them, so I'm just going by the score.

I like Mendoza a lot. He would be a good pickup but I think the Yankees love him. I'm guessing the Yanks will offer him some good money, but the guy has great stuff and as long as he's healthy he's an excellent pitcher. The big question is whether he still has the stamina to start, since he's been in a relief role for so long.

Thomas is a good running back. Its hard to run when you have a qb and coordinator that can't spread the field out. I can't think of many backs that can run with a couple new lineman in as well as the line stacked. Thomas looked good today when he had some decent blocking but he had no chance when the Eagles stacked the line and Miller tried to throw the ball. At qb, the Bears wanted Ramsey and tried acquiring him, it didn't work. Oh ya, Colombo is a stud. He's beating the crap out of people in their. Give him some time and he'll be a very good lineman. Of course Big Cat is done so we will need to find a replacement for him. Next year the oline will be good-great again and we will probably dump Chandler, Holdman(Unless he wants to come back cheaper), and Brob(unless he wants to come back cheaper).

Ya they are a good team, picked by many to go to the finals. Atlanta is also a much improved team and I saw caught the final four minutes of the game and I like our veteran leadership a lot more. This team may just sneak into the playoffs, but they have a long long way to go, cause they aren't that good yet.

just another slap in the face for frank from kenny....

If the team struggles next year, then yes I think you will see a huge decline in attendance, but if they can win without another pickup then you won't see any type of boycott imo. Of course picking up a quality pitcher would be real nice. -
The only thing I've backed about Manuel is the fact that the players seem to like him. As a manager I don't really like him. Now I do back KW to a point. I know he's done a lot of horrible things, but I wonder if it would be any different with anyone else JR brought in. They all are going to be yes men looking for control.

All I'm going to say is Notre Dame doesn't have near the talent of the other teams and look where they are. They still have an outside shot of making it to the title, but it is going to be real hard. Either way they are going to make a big bowl game. I'm going to look for them to blow out their next opponent and then beat USC, although that will be a great game.
-
They sure suck, but a big part of it is definately coaching. They will be back next year, mark my words on that.

We had a sorry second half. Miller wasn't accurate, but we couldn't run the ball in the second half like we did in the first half. The big reason for that is the Eagles made an ADJUSTMENT(Bear coaches, you payin attention?) and brought more in to stop the run. The Bears continued to run and couldn't get a meaningful drive going. Defensively we had tons of penalties. Yes, some of them were tick tack ,but we still had at least 75-85 yds of legit penalties and are averaging over 55 of them a game. That goes straight to the coaching staff if you ask me.

Boy..... you ND fans get testy when your team gets their ass handed to them..... Hey, I ain't pissed at the refs. It wasn't them who fumbled the ball every freaking time they got into the red zone. Didn't we get into their 7 or 8 times in the game and didn't manage to get a td?

I just never will understand the huge rivalry between Cubs and Sox fans. I don't think either team has anything to brag about other then whose more pathetic.
-
It looks like the Sox are talking to him about joining the organization in some way. At first I speculated that it would be as a first base coach or 3rd base coach, but maybe he will replace one of the minor league managers that gets called up to become one of the base coaches. I think we'll see who our new coaches are by Wednesday. Personally I think Kim is a solid guy to bring in here. He isn't a major league manager, but that doesn't make him bad.

Was reading ESPN and they talked about how Manuel needs to chill out and let Foulke start. They were baffled at the fact that Foulke got benched for 2 blown saves when JM new damn well that Foulke was injured at the time and had complained to him about it before the saves were blown. Geeze, smooth one their Jerry. Didn't you figure out he was healthy when he ended up finishing the second half of the season with an era that was under 1 if I recall. This is the moron we have managing? I know everyone loves to rip KW, but for cripe sake I never knew Foulke complained about the injury.

I'd love to see Harris kick some ass their and gain confidence because to me having Harris and Jimenez playing everyday would be awesome. Of course the key is if they can produce and I think the Harris is the bigger questionmark cause I loved what I saw out of Jimenez, that guy is good. Harris has a ton of potential too, but I got to see him make use of it. To me it would be awesome to have a super sub like Manos able to dh some, pinch run, pinch hit and everything like that.

These guys both had great games this week. I like Simms as a pro quarterback and I've noticed he hasn't gotten any of the hype the other guys have gotten, typically because he's not considered a big game qb, but damn he's playing against Nebraska. The other guy I finally watched was Eli Manning and s***, this guy is good. He may be the best qb on the board, even over the raw ability of Leftwich if you ask me. I'd love for the Bears to have the chance to take any of the two.

Fenway park sucks. I wouldn't have one problem if they strapped up some tnt on it and blew it up to build a new stadium. Absolute craphole in my opinion.
-
This one sucks. No excuses. I know they had that one touchdown taken away cause it was a catch, but how many freakin times were they in the redzone only to piss it away. This was embarassing. They should of kicked the living snot out of them, instead they lose. Pathetic. Tyrone is going to eat them alive.
-
Holliday just threw a touchdown pass and the reciever got both feet down and yet they didn't call it a touchdown. Hell, all he needed was one foot down and he had two. Now Notre Dame fumbles another snap and they fail on the field goal. Come on Tyrone get on their ass and Irish pick up your play. No mistakes, you create them.
-
They are down 7-0 but are driving. Their offense has looked fine minus a fumble that set up Boston College's touchdown. Dang, Notre dame just had its 3rd fumble, luckily they recovered it again.
-
Wasn't New Orleans supposed to be good? I sure hope they beat the Hawks today, that would be sweet, cause I'm planning on watching that.

did anyone else hear on espn sunday how they blame everythin
Chisoxfn replied to Cy Young Porzio's topic in SLaM
Sanders was just amazing to watch, of course he never won a damn thing. You could blame his team for that on the most part though. Although he did put his team in tough 3rd and long situations often, but he also bailed them out with absolutely amazing runs.
