  1. Lol, I'm sure Theo will have a vein to hook ya up with. Problem is, his probably has quite a few needle scars on it. Stupid ass crackhead.
  2. Good point, they really are out their in the line of fire in the NFL cause players constantly come diving out into the sidelines.
  3. I almost guarantee we land at least a mid level starter whose had at least one quality season.
  4. He was walking out to the plate after Snow came in to score and while crossing hte plate Snow grabbed him mid run and picked him up because another runner was barrilingy in right behind him. When picking him up, Bakers son lost his helmet. Baker had his head down as he was all worried. Then Snow talked to him and was all cool with him and little baker ran back, picked his helmet up, put it on, and then ran over and picked the bat back up. Then walked into the dugout where he and Snow gave eachother the high five and everything. I don't know, It was just something u don't see usually at a sporting event. I mean, could you imagine this happening in the NFL with Rae Carruths and Ray Lewis's out their.
  5. I happen to vote for some of those things, like the all star game. I think most fans that go do, and I know I was pissed if the players went on strike and I was completely on the owners side. Its ridiculous how much money they make and they think that they can tell baseball they can't remove two places. Thats like a major company shutting down a branch because its losing money in that location and the employees say no, you can't do it. Last I knew this was a capitalistic company and you have the right to free enterprise and all that other stuff.

  7. When you haven't done anything for who knows how long you have to expect a bunch of crap in every letter.
  8. Don't know if you guys and gals caught it, but it happened on Loftons triple later in the game when it was becoming a blowout. That was quite the moment at the plate, but damn was that kid all cute. That was a great moment for baseball if you ask me. The kid giving Snow the high five after everything. I liked how he ran out and put his helmet back on. I thought it was hillarious. Good thing Snow picked him up cause that could of been bad. I have to say though, its things like that were pretty cool. I always hated Snow, but after that I got a little more respect for him, and that clubhouse must be pretty cool with all the players getting to bring their sons and stuff.
  9. Yes they do, no fans and you got no baseball.
  10. Now your realizing, I'm the know it all, lol.
  11. Wow, does that mean what I said make sense or that you simply agree to disagree.
  12. Rusty Kuntz was hired as the Pirates 1st base coach. I never heard of him, probably been their before my time.

    I NEED HELP

I'd say smoke it before the trip.
  14. The fans were the ones to vote for it.
  15. Ya, Marks busy with school and hockey and stuff, so everyone will get them, it just takes time. He's made mine, he just don't want to show me it yet.
  16. Ian, why wouldn't they care about walkups? Walkups is what makes the real money. If they just forgot all about Walk ups their attendance would be ever worse. Money is money to JR and he's going to take it any way, shape or form it comes and a lot of it comes with Walk Up Sales. Yes, I know the marketing sucks!
  17. Of how about Joe Carter's game winning grand slam to win the series, then their was Luis Gonzalez game winning hit. Those were sweet too.
  18. I agree with ya Cubkilla. When you think back, I remember all the gyrations that Fisk went through when he hit the homer, but I sure don't remember everything Cal did during the streak and while running around the field after it. IT was a great record, but that wasn't the greatest moment ever. Gehrigs speach was better, Mark's record breaking home run was better. Robinson being the first african american was better. Kirk Gibsons homerun was better. I'm sure they are plenty others that are better moments too, that I'm forgetting.
  19. Ya, cause I'd be rooting White Sox all the way and would get the opportunity to catch some Sox playoff games.
  20. McMahon has all the potential, but he isn't going to be a stud for a couple years at least, if ever. The guy has amazing tools and heart, he needs to improve his reads, checkdowns and progressions. I'd definately trade a 3rd round pick and Robertson for him though, lets see if the Lions bite. Otherwise, I'd attempt to acquire Couch for a 1st rounder or just go after Leftwhich or Ragone in the 1st round. If we can't get them I'd turn to Carson Palmer late in the draft.
  21. I am the exact opposite. As far as I'm concerned he should never see the Hall till he admits what he does. The guy is an amazing player but he gambled, and gambled a lot. All the evidence is their, its why Rose agreed to what the comissioner did a long time ago, banning him from baseball. If he doesn't agree with it, then why not let them bring all the evidence public and let a court decide. Rose gambled and in the books gambling is illegal and you can't reward him by putting him in the hall.
  22. I'd like to see the Sox in it every year winning it. I wouldn't complain about that.
  23. I didn't see Rauch struggle with much anything other then his fastball looks a little flat and doesn't have enough velocity, hence the fact he gave up a couple homers. Otherwise he's looked pretty good to me. He's a very polished pitcher now that he's adjusted to pitching again.
  24. If we land a Greg Maddux, then its well worth it. Ian, I understand the whole all star game thing, but I also think that the key to drawing fans is a good sized walk up attendance and thats harder to get when you have tickets up a lot. Yes, Season tickets are important but walk ups are very important and to me are more important cause marketing has a ton to do with it.
  25. What does everyone here think was the bset moment in baseball history? Personally I say its Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier. Not only was he a great ballplayer, but he had to go through so much and take such verbal beatings.
