Caballo had a damn fine season last year getting better and better. First off he picked up plate disicpline, and secondly he improved defensively. The guy plays hard and is a good guy in the clubhouse and with Frank gone it gives us many options.
-
Damn Right I'm not, I don't want a thing to do with you and punajama.
-
Mark, you need to clean up that idea cause it will be Marknets.net party not Soxnet's. Come on now Mark...... He's got a lot to learn
-
Michelle, you don't realize it. I'm not promising him a major league job and whats it hurt to see if he can make a comeback. If he comes back at half the form he was when he was healthy then we'd be getting a good player something you can never have to many of. If he fails, then he fails and we lose nothing, NOTHING. It was just like signing Simas. It isn't a promise at making the majors, its giving a guy a chance and if anyone gets hurt at the major league level, then you have immediate depth in the minors.

Me too. I ready to see a lot of 120-100 L's. *psst* The Bulls can't guard anyone :eek No they can't, but maybe they'll slowly learn to play defense. Chandler and Curry could both turn into above average defenders as can Eddie Robinson. The problem is Rose is terrible defensively and I don't know what will happen with Jwill defensively. Crawford is solid defensively but who knows how much pt he will get. Oh ya, Hassell's the man.

I'm ready to see the Bulls play, although I don't expect to see anything pretty.

Matt I'll try to get some information on that player for ya tomorrow, got to study for some tests today. Lousy School gives me Bio and Econ tests on the same day.

I'm with ya in your comparision with Sammy. I do tend to agree with everyones thoughts on Williams, he really is smothering the club taking away all the oxygen away to the point where only he gives it to him and no one can disrespect him. He just wants a bunch of puppets running around, just like Hawk and DJ. Personally I think Whimpy was forced out because he didn't want to be a puppet. Of course no research could back this up, just my own opinion. Anyway, KW needs to let his ego get out of his way cause if he could do that, I think he will be a good general manager.

Thats interesting about the wooden bats in Canada. You'd think it would be a good way of evaluating talent but I think its still very hard to evaluate the players in Canada because in general it is not up to par with the players in the US, mainly because in Canada hockey is the bigger sport. Of course with the sucess of Eric Gagne and many other Canadian pitchers thought of as top prospects(I think 2 went in the top 10 this year) it shows that Candian baseball is improving. As far as metal bats go, the big thing is you can't jam someone with a metal bat which means pitchers are afraid to pitch inside and we all know that isn't a recipe for success in the majors.

I think everything will work out good. Tellem is a good agent and I think on the most part Thomas and Reinsdorf like and respect eachother. The media may blow things out of proportions and say their is some sort of Feud, but I wouldn't buy into any of that crap. JR is very respectful of Frank and mailed him and noticied him well in advance and has handled everything very well.

How can you compare Shane to Ritchie? Shane has been a winner everywhere he's been and has pitched on plenty of good teams, even playoff bound teams. Last season he was hurt, but the guy has proved over and over that he's one of the better pitchers in the majors, something Ritchie never had done. Of course I'm not about to count Ritchie out because he has good stuff and he can't be as bad as he was last year.
-
I tend to agree with you, but I also don't think a little more time will hurt him and from what I have heard KW say it sounds to me like he will likely start the season in AAA. Well KW hasn't really said it, but if we add another pitcher and give Ritchie a shot, then I just don't see how Rauch makes it onto the roster. If he can get his velocity up another 2-3 mph then he'll be set.
-
Well, Its me who brought up Shane Reynolds and I still like him, although you are right when it comes to injuries. He is a big questionmark, but I think of Jr and know he's going to go after someone real cheap and to me Reynolds is the best of that class. Anyway, as far as Rocket goes, many of us here would love to get him here with a 2 yr deal or so, but Its just something I doubt will happen. One thing I do know is that signing would boost fan support and probably would bring in a good amount of people to the stadium. Personally I think we should get 2 pitchers, but I know we will only get one starter, and to be honest I can live with it because I think Rauch is ready and if we only pick up one starter then Rauch has an easier shot at getting in. By the way, welcome aboard, I enjoyed your article a lot.

Sounds like Mario's all bitter, lol.
-
Bring him in. Put him in the minors and give the kid a shot. He's still not super hold and why not pick him up to a cheap incentive laden deal. The guy could turn into a stud reliever or something, you never know.

I heard a couple of their newer songs and they are pretty damn good. Damn them for not having these songs available on Kazaa, they may actually force me to go out and buy me a cd. I haven't boughten a cd in like 3 years.
-
I can't find any of that stuff on Kazaa. You know where I can listen to it?
-
Cool, it looks real good. Sent it to Mario so hopefully everone else sees it tomorrow.

Well Albert Belle's out their.

Murcielago's new personal graphic thread.......
Chisoxfn replied to MurcieOne's topic in Soxtalk Classics
Its one of the many things I'm working on. Thats probably one that will take the longest too. -
Right now I think we shouldn't rush Rauch so it don't hurt him to spend a little time in the minors. Then when it comes to Ritchie and Wright I look and say who earned it and so far Wright's earned it. He got better as the season went on and if we already have a couple vets in the staff we can afford having Wright.
-
No he won't. He's going to keep most of the guys. I could see a few people moving, but I think on the most part you may see him deal a couple of mid level pitchers, but only to make us stronger in other areas in the farms. Most of our action will come on the free agent market this year, imo.
-
Ya Ya Ya, haven't ya ever learned I love pubbing new improvements that will be made. Of course I have many that will be kept a secret until they are done, mainly because I never know if I'll ever actually get to them. But when Mario does something, you know its gonna get done.

We will be releasing that info when we release player profiles for next season's White Sox.

What are some of their better songs cause I'll download some stuff later tonight when I get home from work.
