Don't even mention those stinking Yankees. I need to email Ken Williams and tell him to go after this guy, and include with that my article in which I support him. I'm sure he'll appreciate a little ass-kissin

Sox outright four pitchers to Triple-A Charlotte
Chisoxfn replied to Mr. Showtime's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Well, I am going to answer my own question. They were dumped off the 40 man roster so that now means we have 4 guys to add to that roster and I'm sure the Sox will annouce that move soon. I'm going to guess we'll see Joe Valentine and some other pitchers replacing them on the 40 man. -
I know of the site as we share banners with that site and they are a top site. Of course I know so little about hockey that it would be useless for me to post their.

Weren't all of those guys already in AAA? Why would you outright them their if they are already there? It has to mean they are being taken off of the 40 man and now are soley on the Knights roster, or am I really mistaken on this? Anyway, as far as Barcelo goes has anyone heard anything about how his surgery went and if the Sox even expect him to pitch next season? -
Hummel is doing good and Adkins has also tossed a couple innings giving up just a run. Joe Valentine did get hit hard, giving up 8 hits in like 3 innings.

I've done some more reading on this guy, and right now he's 31 years old. I don't know if anyone remembers back a couple years ago when the Orioles and Cuban team played an exhibition game, but Contreras was the pitcher who went 8 innings giving up somthing like 5 hits while striking out 10. He is thought of as the best Cuban pitcher in the country and was 13-4 last season with an era under 2.00 If he is 31, then I say pick him up and sign him to say a 4 yr deal worth 16 million and lets see what the guy can do. Currently he's awaiting immigration news, but this guy sounds real good and if things go well he would be an awesome pick up for our rotation.

3 Strikes White Sox Trivia First Round Opponents

Well if your busy searching the net for real tough questions, I'm probably screwed, but at least I'll know I made ya work to beat me. -
Nope. The upperdeck at Anaheim stadium isn't high at all. In all honesty its a real nice stadium to watch a game. The 6 buck seats right behind home plate are absolutely awesome, while the 6 dollar seats in left are good too. I don't like them near as much, but it is the area behind the bullpen in Anaheim. You can also get tickets on the field for 13 bucks or in the Terrace Section(the area a little back) for 11 bucks if you have a AAA card. I know when I went to Comiskey I was in shock for how much their charged for tickets. I really am spoiled in the fact that the Angels tickets are so cheap, although I'm sure they'll go up a tad bit next year.

I know what you're saying! I'm facing the same question myself. Ah Please, it took me a while to figure out your making a shot at me. -
Well, you got to be able to disect 420's posts at times. Rents=parents, or thats how I understand it. As far as Tickets at Anaheim they are all reasonably priced, anywhere from $6-$24 The $24 are on the field. Now Club seats and seats right behind home plate are more.

Well I noticed lhp Josh Stewart in their for us, and I'm sure I missed some of our other players.

Thats what happens to many very good arms in the minors. Injuries ruin plenty of prospects careers. I'd say that 20% of all top to good prospects, fail because of injuries, while another high % fail because they can't produce at the major league level. -
The link doesn't work for me ldf.

Ya, please leave us any suggestions you have. We are working hard on coming up with as many ideas as possible, because we want our latest main page to look absolutely awesome and won't release it until it is at that point.

Theirs another move that I called. Its good to see Allan get a managerial job. I for one think he'll be a decent manager. Of course being a decent manager and leading the Tigers to a winning record is a whole other story, cause right now they stink, and they don't have that great of talent in the minors.

Kennedy is good. I'd like to try to steal someone in here, and I'd hate trading for guys because typically to get someone good you do have to give up something good in return.

Does this just mean they are off the 40 man roster? -
Well if we picked him up, then dumped Thomas it would be a pretty good swap.
-
I'm not going to say that. THe NFL right now stinks, so we are still in good position to make the playoffs. One thing I do know is that we are playing like absolute crap, and I do'nt think we are going anywhere with Miller.

Hocking innures finger in Psotgame Celebration, out for ALCS
Chisoxfn replied to Cerbaho-WG's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Man, what a blow. This seems to happen all the time. Maybe athletes aught to take a class on celebration in college. I know most of them take basket weaving or some crap like that in college, why not just make it celebrating. -
Ray Ray is an awesome player and an awesome guy. He's one of the top second baseman in the game, imo, and I have always liked him and always will. I still say I'd rather have him then Manos, but I do think that for our team we don't need Ray's offensive abilities and always swinging for a home run bat.

Lets just wait till everything plays out. Hopefully I'll be 100% right on the money.

Well, I don't think we'll ever just replace all the seats with a new colors, sounds expensive, and I know you can't just paint them.
