Yep, they can't hit them. Of course what happened when we started Buerhle, they beat him cause our offense couldn't score any runs and he was unable to get his 20th.
Ya, Jeter isn't that good defensively, imo and at the plate he isn't anything super amazing, well except in the postseason.
By the way, welcome aboard.
The announcers keep yapping about how slow Appier pitches. Considering their are no other games after this, let it take as long as possible as long as the Angels are whipping up the Yanks.
Whoohoo, 4-0.
Spiezo with a single and Anderson scored. Anderson wouldn't of scored had he not tagged and moved into second after a deep flyout by Troy Glaus.
I'm not saying give up on Porzio, but we give up on one of Wunsch and Porzio.
Foulke may not want to be mid relief, but he isn't fussing about it or asking to be traded. Lets just see what he does. We can't just go out and count on these youngsters in the pen cause if they fail then we would be screwed.
Yep 3-0 Now.
I've been telling all my buds this is the key game cause the Angels will win tomorrows, so they need to win today that way come Saturday when I'm at the game they'll be going for the series win.
You don't just lose it mentally. Keith did great the end when he had his few save opportunities as well.
Did people say Rivera lost it after he blew a save last year to finish the world series, heck no.
Sometimes your going to hit a couple week skid, we were just spoiled casue Keith hadn't done it before.
If he could play second, I'd be calling for him to comeback. Robin is awesome, but he's got to suck it up this series unless the Yanks are down by 10 runs.
They aren't going to make him a starter though. How can you say the guy sucks, look at his career numbers, they have to be some of the best active numbers of all relievers.
In case anyone wants to go on any rants. I mean it is post season baseball and those damn Yanks have got to lose.
YESSS, Timmaayy hits a home run and its 1-0 Angels with two outs in the top of the first.
How can you say that about Keith. He barely blew a game as the closer with the exception of the start of this year. The guy was pretty much the best closer in the majors for two seasons.
