  1. Still, when your playing for nothing and that guy, Rauch, is coming back from an injury then you got to be careful. You can't just say hey, go the distance when your arm hasn't pitched that long in 3 weeks. Wright, Garland, and Buerhle all can go deep into games as can Ritchie, now we'll have to develop Biddle and Rauch into being able to do the same.
  2. Cooper is a great pitching coach. He stepped away from being all mechanicl and worked on their mental approach which is helping this guys a ton. 90% of the game is mental and now our pitchers are finally starting to realize it.
  3. I think and hope Harris can grow a lot during winter ball and win the second base job, pushing Jimenez to short. I'd loving having them two and their incredible speed at the top of the lineup or with Jimenez one, Rowand two and Harris 9 cause then after one time through the lineup then you have a Harris and Jimenez speed combination again.
  4. Thats fine. I think as long as you give the papers name where you got it from the the author then you don't have to worry too much, but thats just my assumption, I'll have to actually go figure it out. Anyway, I don't care what Crede says cause I just don't think he was ready or would of made the impact that he has as quick as he has. Now he is ready and he's doing awesome.
  5. Lets Compare the Lineups Twins Jacque Jones-lf Christian Guzman-ss Torri Hunter-cf David Ortiz-DH Corey Koskie-3rd Mientkevitz-1st Kielty or Mohr-rf Pyrzinksi-c Rivas-2nd Thats kind of what its like, but they do change it up at times. White Sox Jimenez-2nd Manos-ss Thomas-DH Maggs-rf Konerko-1st Caballo-lf Crede-3rd Rowand-cf Olivo-c Imo, our lineup is a whole lot better, of course offense isn't the only part of the game. Defensively they are damn good, but I think we are pretty good defensively, especially if Harris is playing 2nd and Jimenez is at short. The pitching is definately what it comes down to next season. Whoever is better, wins, no questions asked and I think that will be us.
  6. I was kind of the same way. I didn't want to go, oh that chicks hot and then end up finding out it was a guy. I kept thinking they were trying to trick me.
  7. I'm working on creating a new custom chatroom using codes that should be ready for the start of next season, but if I learn like I should it could be up near Christmas time cause I'm going to try to get a lot done during my break.
  8. Are you able to login ok right now? I noticed that you are surfing the boards so I'm hoping that means everything is working good now.
  9. Thats great, they both have pitched lights out. I hope they are both around next year cause when you team those two up with Glover and Osuna thats a nasty foursome.
  10. A lot of it is sarcasm on our part hoping, but they do have the type of owner that would try to pull something like that. They have some good young players ,but when I look at some of the stats they aren't all that magnificient and they have really overachieved in the pitching department, especially that ever so important bullpen area.
  11. I just want to see playoff games first, and us win a series. I remember back when we played the Jays and loss, and now I remember the Mariners series. When we played the Jays I was real young and was just starting to love the Sox and Black Jack Mcdowell. I've still yet to see us do something in a playoff series so I'm ready.
  12. Greg the one thing I wonder is if all this moving around will screw up Jimenez. I know it played into a large part of his struggles when he was in San Diego. He never knew when he was playing, where he was playing and where he was hitting. At least now its not really a when and what slot, but more of just position. Still, I think its hardest for a rookie to get jumbled around, because they need all they can to feel comfortable since they have so many things to worry about. If Jose does anything like he did for almost all of this season, then he should be simply cut.
  13. Lets not forget that all star status, I say he makes a couple mill a year.
  14. Hopefully they each can do it. It would be a cool consolation prize, although nothing even compares to playoffs.
  15. His arm strenght is back, in terms of mph, but his stamina isn't and thats the big thing when it comes to starting and staying fresh. He'll have a lot of work to do this offseason getting everything back. This season was a good step up for him and he will definately have a shot at competing. Like I say, him and Glover are about the only two guys on our staff that really throw hard along with Osuna and Ritchie(not a strikeout guy though)
  16. Two front line starters and were set, guaranteed. What are we going to get, I'll be happy with one and then if everything develops right, we could be able to compete for it all.
  17. Daubach grounded out to 2nd, but Ramirez scored on the play. Two outs now in the Top of the 6th with Varitek due up.
  18. Wunsch now replaces him as and gets Floyd to hit into a grounder, but Manny Ramirez advanced to 3rd. Ramirez hit a ground rule double to start the inning of BIddle. Biddle ended up going 5 innings giving up 6 hits, one run(o earned), but he does have a runner thats his on 3rd base with one out and Daubach at the plate.
  19. Thats whats amazing. He may really of sucked but 30 hr's(28) and 90 rbi's is pretty stinkin good, especially when the guy is having the worse year of his career.
  20. Good thing we got Nomar to line out. Yep, he loves to get in trouble, but he has that mentality where he will fight out of it.
  21. Biddle loaded the bases with one out, then struck out Johnny Damon and then got Hillebrand to hit into a fielders choice, only one problem, Manos made an error and a run scored so now Biddle will have to face Nomar. Big Mistake Jose, Big Mistake.
  22. Borchard is now 0-2 as he just struckout.
  23. Jeff Liefer walked and then Joe Crede hit a 3 run homer. Way to go Crede and great job by Liefer to draw the 8 pitch walk.
  24. Still 1-0 Biddle gave up a 2 out single to Ramirez but got Floyd to fly out to right to end the threat. Thomas, Maggs and PK are due up. Come on Sox, lets get some runs. I smell a opposite field base hit or double for Frank.
