Yes - that was part of the intention, to fix those issues. So I am glad you are back in business!!!

Upgrade is all done. Site might run a bit slow over next day while you build up your cache and while a few jobs continue to run in the background. Yep - and had zero qb play around him at Iowa so could be a guy who steps up. He looked real good in the one game late in season vs the Bears.

One other note - we will have to keep a rolling game thread until EOD Saturday. No new topics will be able to be started until we do the bigger refresh. But replies to existing topics are no issue at all.

Small work on server side done. So Saturday morning the big work will be done - fingers crossed will be back online by Saturday night.

Cavs are pretty darn good. Gave up Laurie, Collin Sexton, and 3 picks (plus some other guy I maybe should know of but don't). That said - not a bad deal for the Jazz. Sexton had a stellar rookie year, obviously had drop off 2nd year due to injuries.

Gallery had a solid career - let’s hope leatherwood has more Gallery in him than Carimi. Gallery was, however, not worthy of a #2 overall pick. Leatherwoods attitude and technique seem to lack. Got to hope the release resets his attitude and maybe the combo of a fresh attitude and maybe a more suitable scheme (guessing here) can help him turn into something.

I will point out - you should still expect a 15-30 minute outage at some point today. Hopefully that is all it is. The larger outage will take place on Saturday - my expectation is it will be about half the day and likely start around 7-8AM PST.

He seems like a scheme cut not a talent cut and those happen. So definitely seems like a solid overall move.

Interesting - claiming him means they are going to pay him vs. waiting for him to go through waivers. Although I'm sure it is easier to waive him since Raiders are on the hook for his bonus, etc. I'm good with them taking a shot. Leatherwood was over-drafted as a FRP but a change of scenery could be a good option.

An Update: Likely will be Wednesday (vs. Tuesday) and I'll have an ETA on when the other behind the scenes stuff has to start (cause it could cause a more extended outage later today and/or tomorrow).

It is 100% not perceived. It is real. Maybe somehow we are shocked, but random dudes 3 or 4 years into the league like Brown/Pringle don't just become #2 wideouts very often. It could happen, sure. Mooney is a guy I love - he is a mediocre #1 but a great #2. Kmet is solid - probably shot at a top 10 maybe back end top 7 TE in time (and he's not far from there now). Montgomery is a solid, but not special back. No - that is one spot the Bears have earned there rep until proven otherwise. They had a top 7 or so unit one time (in terms of playmakers) in my life and that was Alshon, Bmarsh, Forte, and Martellus Bennett. That was a unit that had playmakers on every level of the offense (at skill position spot). That is what it means to have real weapons - the Bears, until they show something otherwise are far from it. They can get there - but it will take time and they need to invest more picks to it and reality is probably some cap space.

Tuesday is the likely day - first thing in the AM PST. If something changes I'll let you know - there may also be some moderate down time tomorrow when we look to do some pre work on the server side.

That said - I liked in general what I saw. But the lack of playmakers at receiver is a huge issue still but you can’t fix everything in a offseason.

The 0-16 Lions went 4-0 in the preseason as well. At least I think they did.

All - with the season heading down the tubes I am taking a last ditch extremely superstitious effort to get the club on track and will be working through some upgrades to the forum software sometime next week. Intent is for it to be a one day outage but given size of this board always a risk it drags a bit longer. If it does I’ll get a back up forum up in the meantime but want to make sure I get everything upgraded given some of the slowness issues people were running into on their mobile device etc. Wanted to give you all a quick heads up - I’ll post a more updated timeline as I get closer to it.

And that is dramatically undercutting the impact of the shoddy defense. When you don't get to the ball cause your outfield range is terrible - it doesn't count as an error.
