I wonder if some of this is due to the stadium fiasco that happened (which was probably what he wanted to finish before selling and now he's ready to do sooner). Either way - good intentions as an owner but I for one (as an Angel fan) look forward to a new owner, whose first order of business should be to rebrand them and remove any affiliation of LA from the team name.

The crazy part is Tony had him go anyway even though Cease could easily have gone today if you knew Kopech had some difficulties (and just have him get an extended rest or even skip his turn in the rotation).

Do you have signatures on in your settings?

One other question - what theme are those of you running into using? I run on Soxtalk 3.1 Light.

It is just what you would see when you visit from phone/ipad. Just makes the experience a bit easier (but nothing you need to do on your end).

Do you all have things like signature images on or off (for those that have issues)? I have all of that stuff off - so really all I see are the posts and the ads (nothing more or nothing less). I do see posters avatars though. Just trying to trouble shoot to understand the driver to see if we can fix.

Correction - I do not use the theme that has privildges - so I have no issue. Do those of you running into issues have ad blockers on your mobile or anything unique? I can use chrome or safari no issue (from wifi or non wifi).

I almost always use mobile and have zero issues.

What is the driver of the Monday game being an afternoon game? Kids are all back in school (I think) - or maybe that is just in my state they are back in school. It isn't a get away day or anything.

This was my main observation. I don't expect a lot cause they are still devoid of talent - but I like what I have seen from this new regime thus far.

Fun fact - I stayed for the entire 19-0 game in 2002 in Anaheim. I did a lot of laughing that night and can still remember exactly where I was sitting for that game.

Just goes back to what I have been saying…the standard and time at the top is weak, what the coaching staff accepts is weak, and the players are soft and mentally weak (there own fault but TLR ain’t helping matters). The worse part in all of this is the fact that the Cubs suck right now…an aggressive Sox team had a chance to own this decade and put a real test on who the major market Chicago team really is. They can still do that but boy did they fuck up those odds big time. I go back to Harper…said it a million times…I would have rolled the truck up For him. He was a name, a face of baseball and the type of person people just go out to watch play and they legit could have had him. Manny is and was the better player but Harpers star power would have been huge in the battle for the media market but Sox are fine being small fish in big pond. They could have went for the kill so many times but never did…and it isn’t changing with this owner.

It is contagious from top to bottom - but they are mentally weak. They give up too much and hitting more than anything has such a mental part to it. Watch the top hitting teams and see how much they grind from at bat to at bat. That mentality is completely not existent on this team and it shows. They give up so many at bats once they are down. You can see it in the body language, the half assed swings, etc. You see the same on defense and on base running. This team is so mentally weak. It has other issues - such as 2 DHs playing in the outfield most games but so much of this is on the entire tone - players to coaches. Why the Sox haven't looked at what the Phils did and how much they changed post Girardi and not realized they need to pull that plug on the coaching staff. What is the worse that can happen. Team is already playing like heartless dogs - it can't get any worse than it's s now.

Any relation to former Brave Marquis Grissom? But I do think the Sox need to bring a few of these guys up - if nothing else - create a spark and send a message to the hasbeens lining up every day.

Sounds like the team has taken on the life of its shit mgr. No one gets a pass. Kenny can step down and everyone else needs to go…but paddy. Start entirely from scratch. In meantime…jerry just sell the damn franchise if you are going to meddle and stick us with a well past his prime mgr and a secondary budget for baseball personnel.

There is zero reason for him to be around. Results matter and they have been putrid. Start setting a standard Chicago and start running yourself like a first class org vs the half ass org you are. Cheap ass Sox - under spend in all areas. I get having a lower payroll (not that there’s is low) but not having first class baseball ops and true depth of staffing, scouts, nutrional and development stuff is just piss poor. So far from being a world class org.

Such a shit GM…so fitting for this shit franchise. I am on my last nerve with how embarrassing they are and how pathetic their standards are. My son is already pivoting to the dark side - fairly certain he will end up a Dodger fan and I legit can’t blame them. The total opposite of the Sox.

They are poorly managed and the use of resources on this roster was pathetically deployed. But really a no power shit defensive team - not a good combination. Quite frankly I have no idea how a team with poor power can be slow and shitty defensively…it’s like the absolute worse extreme of roster construction. So done with everyone associated with putting this together from top all the way down.

I can tell you I have never seen any Sunday ticket channels on my guide (and everything I have ever read said they were seperate - if you want Sunday ticket and have steam you need to go through the streaming version that allows one login. I would love for that to change so I can dvr the bears for the days I have a youth sports conflict.
