An inside player with thick legs and good strength. Physical. Has an impressive combination of quickness, power and athletic ability. Tough run defender with a quick first step and the ability to pressure gaps. Leads with his hands. Plays with good leverage and balance. Gets tied up at times, but he fights the double team well and holds his ground. Moves well laterally. Good inside pass rusher. Keeps his feet active on his charge. Spins in control. Good at getting his hands up. Shows a strong closing burst. Had some shoulder problems early in his career.
