  1. But the differense is, Loaiza was competing for a starter's spot back then, so he had to pitch well. Shoey has already been guarenteed a starter's spot, so he is just working on some new pitches. He'll be fine.
  2. No the tigers won't be too competitive, but they can still surprise. With the additions they made to solidify some of their positions, I wouldn't doubt then being the surprise team at all. But their pitching has to step up. I've been saying all along give the Indians one more year, and watch them. All of those players 26 and down will produce. Hell, if all of them step up, they can be the dark horse in this division.
  3. Those are freakin awesome!! I especially like the first two and the jaw drop and i give up But I like them all.
  4. My game got cancelled... My coach is so lazy..
  5. The best of luck goes out to you Bull I hope you have a great season.
  6. Sounds good to me. Those prospects are the future. I don't think KW would trade our good prospects anymore. I'm sure he's learned from that.
  7. Good riddence to him..
  8. Shoey is just trying out his other pitches. He wasn't trying to be dominent in Spring Training. I was very impressed with his last outing and the # of k's he had. I don't think anyone had confidence in Loaiza last year, and look what he did.. Let's just give these pitchers a chance before we start losing confidence in them esp. Shoey.
  9. If Guillen can push Loaiza to pitch just like that year, then we should be able to make a run for our money. Guillen will push E-Lo to reach that certain intensity and fire he can have as an "ace."
  10. Gload wasn't even a prospect period. He has some major league experience having traveled around a bit from different teams. 18 homers in Charlotte I'll gladly take outta him. We don't need a homerun type guy on our bench, just get the key hits when needed and not do too much.
  11. Sure 14 wins but with a 5+ era. That could had been alot worse if he didn't pitch well during the end of the second half that season. He gives up too much homeruns in my liking. Very little confidence I have for him.
  12. Now that's a type of manager I'd want on my team as well.

    How happy are you?

Damn dude I got the same thing. I'm not down enough...
  14. s***, I was freezing my ass off. But when the game starts, I probably won't even think about the weather and just worry about beating the other team.
  15. Yea I remember when Sportscenter did that piece with him showing his trailor home. He is one hellofa class act and a great personality on and off the field.
  16. Well... our 1st game starts tom. in like below 40 degree weather. I'm alittle nervous , but I pumped as well!! I'm the lefty hitting, right fielding 2nd baseman with the # 15 (the 1 represents me and my best year in baseball, and the 5 represents my little brother who has been good with that # and pitched with it for 2 straight seasons.) I'm glad I got the number. I hope I bat leadoff like in some practices. I'm hoping for the best out of my team. Wish Us luck!!!!!
  17. Good And Bad For Grilli
  18. Hell, not even the starting pitchers got help from their fielders. I believe our defense cost us a couple spring training games as well. But most of them were from the players who won't make it to the bigs this season anywayz.
  19. It seems like they like what they saw in Campos dispite that rough outing. Hopefully that kid gets it together cause they are going to be scouting him.
