  1. Yea, they'll just inject a ton of steriods on that thumb to get it stronger..
  2. Reed.. BTW Welcome Crabby
  3. Rex, your mystery games are the best games ever!!
  4. I had a very good day at batting. I was the leadoff hitter. They call me Alfanso Soriano on this team (I dunno why cause I'm most compared to Luis Castillo) I hit the farthest ball out there, and it was live pitching. It was a leadoff triple. I also stole two straight bases the next at-bat cause of a leadoff walk. My teammates say I'm probably going to be the starting 2nd baseman which excites me cause I'm a natural born OF. BTW, congrats to you White Sox in '04.
  5. I'll say Julianne Moore.
  6. Nick Swisher is a stud. His minor league stats weren't impressive, but he's showing he can hit major league pitching. It's weird cause some players hit major league pitching better than minor league.
  7. Yea, Josh was a real down to earth kinda guy. I wish him the best also. Hopefully, he'll get a shot to play more often some day.
  8. True. But we don't know how Uribe will fare against U.S. Cellular. He was hitting in hitters friendly Coors, and his bat didn't impress me much there. Hopefully he'll have a good year here. I'm sure Ozzie will bring the best out of him. I still don't think he could replace fan favorite Graffy though.
  9. Probably: Rauch and Jackson I'm pulling for: Cotts and Grilli (Santiago if one doesn't make it) Darkhorse: Stewart and Ginter
  10. I can't tell you how much clutch homers and clutch rbis Graffy made during last season and before that. I remember one game when dumbass Manuel made a change and Graffy was the pinch hitter. He was comming off the bench way cold (I think he didn't even pick up bat in 5 games or so) and hit a clutch rbi double. He will be surely missed because of those hits and his versitility.
  11. I was thinking De La Hoya as well. But I'll say Armstrong.
  12. Kip Wells Fan Name: 6 (he isn't with us give it up!! lol) Avi: 8 (sopranos) Sig: 10 (playa good job)
  13. I have SS2k4. It is a very powerful piece and I, myself learned alot from also. It's kinda inspired me from learning about him, his disciples, and the way they had run their certain laws back then.
  14. What's "old comisky"? I've heard of "Old Comiskey," the greatest ballpark ever but not "old comisky."
  15. Well.. you can't win them all. Did you expect the sox to go perfect during the whole spring training? It's one loss, doesn't kill us.
  16. Definitely man. 35? That just shows you how short life can be for others. Rather enjoy it while we can, and hopefully, throughout the future.
  17. I have good news!!! There was only abut 2 or 3 positions open on my baseball team. My school's record was very good last year (18-7 but lost in the 2nd round in the playoffs.) 2nd base, right field, and cather were the ones that were up for grabs. My coaches and teammates were impressed with my play (esp. comming back from osgoodsloderious (sp?) [a fracture in both the bottom of my knee caps a couple years ago.]) My teammates believe I should be the starting 2nd baseman. I believe cuts are next week. I know I beat out bout 4 or 5 others trying out. I think my friend will make it too, but on the bench. We'll see. I'll keep reporting. My fielding was good, but my batting was ok, cause they really didn't give me anything to hit (all high pitches.) We swung with wood that day as well, not aluminum. (my friend did really well with it hit 2 monster long ones.) I'm hoping I don't get cut, but from what I heard, I might be on this team. It's weird too, cause the OF is really my strongpoint. But I can handle 2nd. Hopefully, I'll be that starting 2nd baseman and help carry my team to the promise land!!
  18. Reddy Name:7 Avi:8 Sig:10 (any reed fan is a friend to me)
  19. Way to bring it back Cheat. I'll jump on the bandwagon and go with Natalie Portman as well.
