Did mark pitch like his record, or did he did unfortunite mishaps in situational games? I rest my case.

That's been my whole point. He didn't get any defensive help the first half. That's why his Run to Earned run avg. was high. I've been saying they shouldn't blame Burehle for any underacheving the sox did last season.

Stats don't mean anything if you find a way to win games. How do you think he had a great record and good era the second half of the season? And he could have won alot of games this year (from beginning to end) if he had defensive help.

Watch what you say. If Willie does live up to his potential, and is a good player, I can see you begging for his autograph and he turns you down..

I can understand blaming Konerko (we all know why) and Frank (for his attitude), but I don't understand why he would blame Buehrle. The guy had no defensive help all season, and his Runs compared to his Earned Run average is incredible. Plus, he did improve ALOT during the All Star break. The sox were in the playoff hunt when he was pitching well. it's not his fault.

I'd rather be a sox fan and just live through struggles (if any) and listen to a great announcer in Hawk Harrelson and a hellofa sidekick in DJ, then to wait another eternity to win something, and listen to serious BS and dont know a clue about baseball in chip carry n a guy who brags too much on cub pitchers in steve stone. :fthecubs

So you would rather have a guy who's in his early 30's and has been having control problems for the last two years he's been here. Or would you rather have a kid who's in his early 20's who hasn't pitched a whole season, has alot of upside, and is still learning how to pitch? I rest my case.

Wow! you didn't know that? I thought alot of people did. Yea he was a good pitcher and good hitter in HS. He was converted into a hitter though. I could still he him throwing some no hitters right now!

Well i'm glad it all worked out well... SSI, i'm surprised you lasted that long. I don't think anyone (since i've been on the board and been a guest for a long time) has lasted that long with Steff in a "intense convo." I see everyone just backs off cause she is usually right or just tells it how it is straightforward.

I believe he was talking about Jared Robertson who is on the stros. Very young and is probably going to AAA thanks to the starters the stros have now. He was saying we should trade for him to make a YOUNG starting rotation of MB, JR, and JG.
