That's the guy who is a wild card. I can see a couple of their guys regressing but him... he just oozes talent and still hasn't put it all together yet. If he does, that'll help offset the other guys down years.
Yea their defense just got way better with this move. Sano still isn't very good, but you can get by with him at 1B. Hell, we're doing the same with Abreu currently.

Nova was a good soldier. He was a guy alot of the young Sox pitchers complimented as a good mentor. If I'm not mistaken wasn't he the guy (or one of the guys) who had all the starters go to the bullpen to watch a teammate who was about to start the game throw? I wish him the best.
I can't recall a Sox player being in any kind of camp this early. Not even Abreu is there THAT early. Grandal really works his ass off. Fantastic leader.
Andrew Vaughn also got a vote there and was second for best hit tool. Burger would've probably been up there too if he actually was healthy. Sox have done a good job in regards to that lately.
