Abreu is up there too with the dumb (mostly his baserunning). It's still hard to really evaluate until this offseason is over. Still need a couple of more pieces (namely the bullpen). Might push the total up a tad bit depending on who the Sox get.

Agreed about the D. I'll say around 81-83 wins cause of Ricky's incompetence (I'm on record in saying he's going to be the weak link for this team).

I could see it. He'd be around more of his countrymen than any point in his career. And then you have Encarnacion who is the oldest and another vet. Not saying I'd take the risk but it would be interesting.

While true, McCann is arguably a better game caller. Depends on what that pitcher prefers in hindsight.

Well this is certainly nice to log into going home from the relatives. Maybe some people can back off Hector Gomez too who was all over this one.

I like Castellanos cause of the flexibility but you can't argue the 1 year commitment which is certainly ideal for us. Plus, Encarnacion walks alot more (maybe can tell Abreu to stop chasing crap and doing too much since he'll be the more experienced veteran) and can probably teach the young guys about launch angle. I hope Encarnacion explodes just like Cruz did (albeit he'll be clean).
