  2. He said since Lovie which is probably the last good coach the Bears have had. The fact Nagy already has more wins than the other two in barely a year and a month of coaching is very telling.
  3. Fathom has long been on the trade Madrigal bandwagon and I don't believe he has 0 issue at all giving up Cease for the right package FYI.
  4. Wow.. Trent Grisham might've just ended the Brewers season.
  5. This is sad and hilarious at the same time.
  6. I'll give you that as his xwOBA is identical to Tim Anderson. Timmy had a higher BABIP as well although Timmy's hard hit % was about 2% higher. But again though... sample size with Dom. We really don't know what he is at this point. I am definitely not giving up a high end spect for him btw.
  7. He's definitely soft, but that won't deter me from giving him what he wants.
  8. Annnnd it's gone. Wendell Carter Jr. and Daniel Gafford suffered injuries in first day of camp.
  9. I wonder what the Mets would want for Dominic Smith. Was a former top spect for them and was considered the future at 1B before Pete Alonso destroyed the minors and majors and took his job. I can't imagine them playing him at LF, especially with his foot issues. Fangraphs had a good article about him finally starting to figure it out back in June before he got injured. https://blogs.fangraphs.com/dominic-smith-is-hitting-himself-out-of-a-pinch/
  10. That rainout screwed the Sox. I fully believe if that goes 5, Tigers probably would've won and we'd be picking 10th. But hey... we can thank Ricky for playing guys like Castillo so much down the stretch that he had enough big hits to effect games.
  11. Savant/statcast. His curve is actually the high number not his change and his change is slightly down (they have them both flip flopped from '18-'19 so that's probably where the confusion is.
  12. Unbelievable. Was almost assured I would lose because he had Boyd whose had a very good season so far and only needed 6 points to beat me. Boyd got 4.80 points. I won by 1.72.
  13. I would say Alex Wood if our analytical team was up to par. His spin rate numbers (in a small sample size) with his curve and change were down considerably compared to years past.
  14. Does this mean he'll still need surgery in the offseason? Usually when you hear about a "tear" in a ligament that usually doesn't fix itself.
  15. Before Machado became a FA, the Sox tried to trade for him and thought him being around "their organization" would make it easier for him to sign an extension. I would hope they would learn from that mistake.
  16. I'll take it with a grain of salt for now (Twitter is usually 50/50 with these things) but it's disappointing. He was on the sideline for the game today supposedly.
  17. Would make sense given Nagy being so discreet about the "personal matter" and Roquan being on the sideline in the game.
