If there's any team that can trade alot of assets and still be good for the future, it's the Texans. They have 2 1st round picks this year and 2 next year. If they wanted, they could trade both picks, move up a spot, trade next year's 1st and still have a 1st round pick. Obviously that might be too rich and likely they won't do that, but it's fun to dream.

I wouldn't. Not with all of the assets like that acquired. Plus they are more geared up for the future starting next year. This isn't a one year fix. Now if they traded out of the top 5 with only one trade with a team, then yea.. I would be pissed too. Two teams or more who wanna move up and the Bears stay in the top 5-7? By all means. (Seahawks and Falcons deals are probably pipe dreams though).

I'll take Nicky. God like defense, very good base stealer, smart I.Q. player (lord knows we need it). Would basically be like getting Yolmer back except a better version of him. Who knows.. get him out of Kauffman stadium and he might run into a few more bombs too. Benintendi, Robert, Moncada, Lopez is a very good defensive group (we'll see about TA, and I think Vaughn is a better defender than Abreu personally).

In my opinion, this is Tim Anderson's team. Now, whether the Latin players choose to listen to him or if he actually steps up and not do "other" activities is another story. But I think he would and can be the man in that department.

It's not a huge drop off. This draft class is ridiculously deep. The top 4 guys have the best chance to be impact players but there's plenty of guys who can be top 6-9 players. Make no mistake though.. this is Connor Bedard's draft. Michkov is the only other player who can be just as good as Bedard but he is a huge risk with the Russian factor.

He was touching 100 as a prospect with that arm motion. Granted that was years ago, but technically that was the same arm motion he did bring it from. It's his contract year, Lucas is trying to get paid.. but this isn't normal for an MLB big league pitcher to keep changing his mechanics this drastically.
