again, why even waste the time anymore. I am sure if the Sox even won the world series he'd have something negative to say. Let him be. He has his opinions on the Sox, I have mine on him. Enough said.

wait wait I am confused??? I thought KC was suppose to beat the Sox???? They are 1-4 this year???? Thats not suppose to happen!!!! Those guys in bristol must be scratching their heads..

I just got back from a meeting. When I left for it the Sox were up 6-2. I came back and watched Crede's hit on the computer. THANK GOD...

I was talking about the pictures.

For the large group of fans in Left Field....
quade36 replied to BigNDfan80's topic in Pale Hose Talk
2 things. 1. The probability of catching 1 homerun within your lifetime should be the first insight that you should keep the ball. I caught a Tino Martinez HR a few years ago when he was on the Mariners and to this day it sits next to my Joe Crede foul ball caught at 1:08 in the morning last year. 2. I got a batting practice HR before the game yesterday. I could care less about a batting practice HR. So what I did was during my little league practice in the evening I showed it to the kids. Told them that there are 3 practices remaining before the first game. Whoever is at practice on time and gives the most effort in these next three practices will get this ball. Their eyes lit up. I completely agree with what someone said earlier in this thread. If you don't want it, make a kid's day... -
Hey I was very very surprised by the attention the Sox got in today's Suntimes.

the loudest it got was when the fans started chanting Paulie after he hit the homer and he came out for a curtain call. I liked the fan deck a lot. The view there was really nice. I walked around and noticed in the upperdeck that there where pictures showing past Sox players. It seemed to be cut off though, like it wasn't complete. Did anyone else notice this? I liked this a lot and was wondering if it were going to stretch along the whole upper deck area.

Why is Vic Darrensbourg getting paid so much????

shingo did alright, once he calmed down from his first MLB pitch

Roberts is like 50, thats assuming you mean bip. Or is it Brian?

No, there was a pitch to Berroa that was a questionable strike three call. Berroa was on top of the plate on the pitch. He basically stepped into it. But it looked like it caught the corner.

Not to complain, but does anyone else think its weird that the Sox have to open in KC, then go to NY and sit through yet another home opener there, then finally open at home against KC who they already played the week before? This doesn't seem right that they have to be put through the opening day excitement 3 times. At least have their's first, not last. What do you guys think?

Positive: Konerko leads the league in SB

I saw this too, and I was a little shocked, but happy. Reynolds, grrhh he is just bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad bad. Bad as an analyst. And bad in what he knows about baseball. Maybe the Royals will win the division. But its not because they are a good team. If they win its because both Minnesota and Chicago will have horrible horrible seasons, with key players getting injured. Thats how KC can win.

you should at least have been creative like saying Frank for Ken Griffey.....

I'd have to say the Phillies are my second fav. team. What they did in 93 was awesome. Dykstra was clutch. Shilling was just normal. Darrin Daulton made catchers look good. Kruk was the man. I was so happy when Kruk became a White Sox, even though it was only for a couple of months. Now they have Abreu, Wagner, Leberthial, and Wolf. All who I am a big fan of.

correction 8-0, does anyone know how they just scored?

Kris Honel should be considered one of the better prospects yet his name never is mentioned.

Harold Reynolds has always been an idiot. Last year he said that the Sox had no chance of winning their division because their defense was so bad. He actually picked them third if I remember. Then in August when they took over 1st he jumped on their band wagon and said he knew all along that if this team could pull together they could run away with the division. His thoughts are as logical as my 1 day old nephews. You guys should not look into anything he says.

yeah, but did you read that Sun Time article as to why Cotts hit Jackson which led to the cubs fourth run? Basically, it was in retaliation for a high slide he did a few innings before an Willie Harris. I like the aggressiveness on Ozzie's part. If it means losing a spring training game to help promote team unity, so be it. I had no problem with that.

man Uribe.... you gotta play this guy during the year. Harris just struck out.

damn Michigan State, I had them going to the Elite 8....
