  1. QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 15, 2014 -> 10:47 AM) I looked at the schedule and saw anywhere from 17-14 to 19-12. Maybe they're better than that, but it was just a general supposition due to the opponents on the schedule. They're 17-10 right now. Two-and-two is a definite possibiity in the last 4 games. Pretty decent guess, I suppose.
  2. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Feb 18, 2015 -> 11:04 PM) Jerome Kersey passed away at 52 He used to throw down some mean dunks back in the day...RIP Two of the early '90s Blazers are gone now.
  3. Good service is 20%. Bad or mediocre service gets 10-15% depending on how upset they made me.
  4. Dean Smith and Jerry Tarkanian passed away as well.
  5. Marvel Civil War is after his marriage to Mary Jane, so I believe that he's in his mid to late 20s.
  6. Someone provided me with a copy of American Sniper. Is it worth a watch?
  7. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Feb 3, 2015 -> 12:06 PM) we just did the hibbity-dibbity last night. There was ding-ding to hoohah hullabaloo?
  8. QUOTE (shipps @ Feb 3, 2015 -> 11:30 AM) My personal wish would be that the Score promote one of the producers to be Speigels new side kick. There are probably 5 of them that deserve it and are good enough to do it...not to mention Grote who I really enjoy but he does weekends. But they wont do this. They are going to go for "a name guy" like usual. Promote Herb!
  9. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Feb 2, 2015 -> 05:49 PM) Trade them one of Flowers, Brantly, Kottraras, Soto or Smith! Flowers for the return of Addison Reed.
  10. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 3, 2015 -> 06:36 AM) Growing up in Carol Stream, me and a buddy used to go to a local comic book/card store on the corner of Army Trail and County Farm rd (by the Jewel) and buy a pack once a week. They had a box of unopened packs of 1982 topps cards that were around $3.00 a pack and we would get those and try and get all of the rookies like Sandberg and Gwynn because we knew they were bigtime cards according to the Beckett. I hope they were 1983 Topps, because you'd only find Cal Ripken, Lee Smith, and Dave Stewart rookies in 1982.

    Snowmageddon 2015

Looks like about 15" here in SW Mich. Took me 1 1/2 hours to make a 40 minute trip home from work yesterday evening.
  12. QUOTE (OsweGo-Go Sox @ Feb 2, 2015 -> 08:43 AM) not to be a pest, but I'd still like this name change. Thanks! I made the change - Ohhh you mean the other name.. Sorry. I misunderstood.
  13. QUOTE (shipps @ Jan 29, 2015 -> 09:56 PM) I know what you are thinking but 2006 wasn't it. Yes we were all still rolling off the high we had from the 05' WS but we were still exhausted and fully satisfied from winning. This off- season has been exciting, fresh and more intriguing than any other I can remember. As a fan even if this team ultimately fails I have been entertained and have enjoyed every second of our whitesox talk. What is even more satisfying is that the moves made don't even make you feel yucky or hesitant to get your hopes up for the next season. It's all good right now sox fans. GET OUT OF MY HEAD!
  14. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 01:59 PM) Hawks are playing fantastic basketball. Golden State has the star power but Hawks defense is superb. Also have highest winning percentage in the NBA vs. the Western Conference. The Warriors play the Hawks soon. That should be a great game.
  15. QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Jan 28, 2015 -> 01:33 AM) ESPN Stats & Info @ESPNStatsInfo · Derrick Rose: 1st player in NBA history with at least 30 points, at least 10 turnovers, and 1 assist or fewer in a game (via @EliasSports) You'd think that Kobe would have done it before.
  16. QUOTE (LDF @ Jan 27, 2015 -> 11:31 PM) here is an updated list of available players..... who could be had. can any help the sox?? http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2015/01/the-...ning-names.html Axford stands out to me. Cooper works with getting power guys more control in their pitching, so he could be a Spring invite, if anything.
  17. XMen: Days of Future Past - 2 out of 5 stars. Hard to really get into the movie. Not a strong plot in . Quite a few little annoying nitpicks about the script's portrayal of 1973; while, the "future" scenes could have been made in a warehouse and with crazy CGI and probably were. A waste of time and acting ability for the great actors that were in the older films (Stewart, McKellen, Berry.)
  18. I always had the idea that the Wild Card round should be a best out of 3. One game at the home stadium of each team. Then, if it goes to 3 games, the deciding game should be at a neutral site (the stadium of the #1 seed). This makes it more balanced and fair. The problem of doing this, is more of a money issue than anything though. Teams/cities won't want to play on a neutral field, and fans may not go to the game at the neutral site.
  19. QUOTE (LDF @ Jan 25, 2015 -> 06:11 AM) unless i missed something from last nite to now, those idiot from the northside minor league team, still don't have their facts right. what contract are they talking about that he signed??? btw Chiliihead great job in finding this. i love it. He was also never a QB or in the bullpen.
  20. Just saw a post. If Klay was on fire for 12 minutes, does that make him Pottery Thompson now?
  21. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 23, 2015 -> 01:24 PM) Already hired as is our assistant secondary coach. I suppose he could be getting some form of an assistant coaching job but presume he still wants to play so maybe he has been 100% cleared to work out, etc. Peanut just doesn't seem NFL starter quality anymore, though.
  22. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jan 23, 2015 -> 01:23 PM) I am extremely interested in this. I love Peanut, as far as I'm concerned, he should have a lifetime contract, haha. Maybe he's going to play safety? DBs coach?
  23. I don't know if it's possible for Mike Rizzo to trade with the Sox right now. He and KW still have issues. Hahn may have the title of GM, but KW is still in the mix.
  24. Didn't Detroit deny permission to interview Cooter?
